I just got a call from the fertility specialist that they had a cancellation for tomorrow and if I could come in. That means that I won't have to wait until my original appointment on Aug. 8. The only thing is that I will still have to wait for testing until Aug. because I'm going to have AF just before we go on the trip and there is no way I'll be able to go in around O time. I'm still debating if I should stay on the pill until after the trip or just stop after this cycle. hmmmm.... I'd be O'ing right near the end of the trip and I usually get so bloated and crampy, but on the other hand maybe if I am lucky we could BD while we're there and maybe..just maybe have a sticky bean. I guess I'll decide once AF arrives.
UPDATE July 2
I ended up waiting 2 hours cause the dr. was running behind. Oh well..I got to watch a movie at least. He said that he wants to test me for recurring m/c, even though I've only had 2, but he doesn't want to wait for a 3rd. It could have been just bad luck but we have to figure out what has changed in the last couple of years and why I can get pregnant, but not sustain the pregnancy. So first we'll do the usual tests.. sperm analysis, cycle monitoring and tubal & uterine testing with saline being injected through the cervix. Whole bunch of u/s & blood work. So now I have to call on CD1. I will wait until after our vacation, otherwise I'd be mid-cycle on our trip and have no way to go into the clinic. I'm happy that we can at least try to figure out what's up.

Looks like your finally making headway here.. Im so happy they are "throwing everthing at you, including the kitchen sink!" Most dr.'s are inclined to say that they feel that it is just bad luck, I got that one too. I really hope it is, and the next one stays put without any extra effort on your part!

I'm really glad he's not going to make you wait for a third m/c before testing. Some doctors actually make people WAIT for another m/c! Now that you are going to have testing, you may not ever have to suffer through another

My doc was a little reluctant to test me after my 2nd chemical but did so because of all I'd gone through with my son.
Turns out I have 2 blood clotting disorders and after starting on the Lovenox I haven't had any complications!

Glad to hear you had a good appointment. Your doc seems like a good one - especially being so pro-active rather than reactive!

Good luck and I hope you get some answers. My FS also sent me for tests after 2 losses, unfortunately nothing showed up but I am hoping it means that next time I will have a sticky little one!

That is great news Trish. What a wonderfully. supportive Dr you have. I hope you enjoy your vacation, get plenty of R&R and then get down to the root of your issues.
