I miscarried on June 21st and my HCG level was down to 14 four days later (haven't had it checked since then because we were away on vacation). I am going to go have it checked today but I am thinking it probably went all the way down before now... but, my DH and I have not been using any birth control since my m/c and I have no idea if I ovulated since then or not. I thought I felt the typical "cramping" of ovulation this past weekend.

Please help me figure this out...

Its very hard to judge when you ovulate after a m/c. My advice would be do an opk but that won't help if you already ovulated. When I asked my doctor after my last m/c she said once your numbers reach 0 you "O" about 14 days after that and you could start that as when you would begin your cycle. HTH.

Hi hun.. ditto on the above response. It's hard to say when you'll O, but you're body will start thinking about it after your levels have dropped. That said, some women don't O and that's okay too. I charted after both of my miscarriages, and I ovulated a few weeks after the bleeding stopped. Good luck to you.

I agree that it's hard to know....I actually don't think I ovulated the cycle after my last loss but everyone is different.

Unfortunately, unless you're charting it's hard to say for sure whether or not you O'ed. If you are very aware of your body's indications of O'ing, then it's definitely possible that you O'ed.

looks like you'll just have to wait this one out, but it's possible you did. I only miscarried less than two weeks ago, and already i have a positive opk!

My doctor said usually once everything is complete (bleeding stops) you generally O about 14 days after that. That's of course a generalization...
