we had a VERY small ceremony at my house right after dh returned from iraq.

I love my wedding pictures! You have all seen my very favorite one in my signature and I will limit myself to 4 new ones a week. This week is the ceremony location and getting ready!

We had our ceremony in my parents front yard. My dad made all the benches, the arch and the flower boxes (with a little help from his son-in-laws).


The aisle was marked out with pictures from our engagement session with our photographer.


I made each of my bridesmaids a little purse like this (bought and added the letter) and my mom cut her wedding dress into pieces and gave each of her daughters one for their wedding day (awww).


Me and my maid of honor - just about ready to get married! BTW I made all of our jewellery as well - necklace and earrings for each bridesmaid and myself!

yes i know...... i said I would continue the 'storey' each week but went and got sick........

Ok.... so where did we leave off....... thats right.... my sons were giving me away......(and as teenagers I m sure they wished they really were )

oooops.... missed the walk down the isle with them




Exchanging Vowels....took a tad longer than normal cause we wrote them ourselves....you know me.... i can tend to go on a bit...... lucky the seats were comfy enough for the guests.
