I agree with Kimberley. After a while you just start to know one another. But it is easier for us now that we are here. We only ever have to meet one or 2 people at a time (besides that one time we were bombarded with newbies from another board - but we love them and got to know them all in time).

Just take it slow and you will know us all. BTW we are a nosy group and do Picture Girl and MOTM which helps to get to know one person at a time.

So when i first joined...... I did a LOT of scrolling...... someone would say something and I d quickly go and look them up and try and learn about them and then respond to what they had said........ sure it looked like I knew everyone but.... my head was spinning......LOL

Seriously though..... one by one you just get to know each other. It can seem full on at the beginning but it just happens over time. There are ladies on here that I still dont know very well and there are ladies I know to d@mn well...... ohhhh sorry Jen.... didnt mean to single you out in front of everyone

You ll get there hun..... its just like meeting a room full of people..... only difference here is their names are on here, you dont look foolish cause they cant see you and if you ve forgotten what they ve said you can look it up without them knowing...

I've been on here for 4 months and I still don't know everyone. Some people post daily and it's easy to learn their story. Others are new and only post one or pop on once and awhile, those I find confusing. One of the other boards I post on I have really gotten to know a few girls but that board has too many people posting and going through it every day it makes my head hurt. I know that when I come on here after a long day at work I will see the same faces and they all share my story. It so welcoming.

So get posting and join in the fun. I second mlyster photo girl and motw makes my day and helps a lot with whos who.

I agree with the other ladies, but ALSO...I made a cheat sheet It has the username, real name and SO's name of each member. It's a great way to remember who's who, especially when you're new.

btw... This community is great, and these ladies are amazing. I hope you feel at home here!

I am starting to see some of the same ladies and learn their stories. Course I am most active on the TTCAL and pg loss boards due to my recent loss. I am starting to branch out a bit and see these ladies elsewhere. It kinda helps. I am becoming addicted to JM LOL. I fake it till it sticks also . Oh did I post that LOL.

I learn because I am addicted to people's signatures. lol So I learn about who they are through it. Plus they are all so differnet, and I learn visually, so it helps..

Magicaledelishus................ If you go into the main section of threads....... not the ttc ones but the full list..... scroll right down the bottom and there is a thread called Siggies R Us. Those ladies in there do AMAIZING siggys.

I play around with them and have done a few but mine are nothing in comparison to theirs. You can go through each persons examples of what they have done.... they are great and you will find that one or two of them you will relate to and like. Only downside is that they are extremely busy.


aggates109...... what you wont see yet are siggies....... there is some majical number of posts that you need to post before siggies can be seen. Once you see them its like someone turning the lights on..... or all of a sudden having colour..... they are amaizing. The number of posts is somewhere between 10 and 20........ i say somewhere because it seems to be different for everyone

Also... until you can see siggys... my posts wont make a lot of sense in the main thread....... rofl

I'm probably the worst in remembering names. It just takes time. I don't really post on any other boards, otherwise I'd never be able to remember who is who. With time you get to know people and their stories.

WELCOME! Welcome to the board... I all so have a cheat sheet for the new people that we welcome.. screen name and real name. But the more people post, the more you chat, the more you get to know them. Especially the ones that have been here for a while. Like me! Sometimes newbies (and oldies that get thier BFP) stay a very short time... they get thier BFP and move on to the graduate board. I hope this is the case for you... You get your BFP quickly! Good luck!

I used to know everyone here really well but I also used to post multiple times a day (before life got really busy). I just came back on a few weeks ago and am still trying to "meet" everyone who is here now.

I pretty much just read people's posts, look at their signatures and try to figure out who is who that way.
