I had a screw up with my appointment time this morning, but since the ultrasound tech was amazing, she squeezed me in and showed me my little PIRATE!!!



Heart rate was 146 and we got to HEAR it...which at that point I started crying (instead of just having tears roll down my face).



I'm measuring 2-3 days ahead (YAY!!!!!) And best of all....



My baby appears to be wearing an eyepatch . When I pointed it out, the tech said "YARRR MATEY!". So I am pregnant with a pirate. I am just so thrilled. It was amazing to see that little heart beat flickering away, and these were all abdominal, so no worries about spotting.

Thank you so much girls. Without your support and encouragement, there is no way I would have had the courage to try again. I can't wait to celebrate BFP's and heart beats with each and every one of you!
