okay, here's the situation. we are going to an amusement park on friday. i am a TOTAL roller coaster enthusiast! love them! anyway, i'll be 9dpo. i will probably test that morning, but who knows if it would be too early or not. so, can i ride the coasters without feeling guilty? is it really most dangerous later on in pregnancy? what would you guys do?

Definitely ride....I don't think it will affect anything that early. Heck, even if you were in your first trimester, I would still say you would be good to go. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

I say ride!!! I actually rode on a water ride that prego mamas aren't supposed to ride shortly after getting my BFP... I think about 2 weeks after so I would have been about 6 wks pg. Anyway, my first u/s at 8 wks the baby's HB was strong so it didn't hurt anything though I did have a m/c later but don't think for a second that it was b/c of the ride.

i say ride.. I think it is more unsafe later in pregnancy, you could squish your stomach, pull the placenta away from you uterus etc.. with that being said my stupid cousin went and rode rides when she was like 7 months prego!!! I told her not too but she did anyways. her and baby were both fine. (this was like 4 years ago)

I'm going to an amusement park on August 3rd. I will be testing before then so hopefully I'll know one way or another. I'm sure I'll go on rides either way unless it would freak out DH too much. He is afraid of rollercoasters haha Anyway I did it when I was about 5 months pregnant with my now 6 yr old son...probably shouldn't have but he turned out ok. I think it is mostly a concern later on in pregnancy.

I'd say enjoy the rides! I don't see how it could hurt anything especially so early!

Go and enjoy the rides! The baby is so well cushioned that there won't be a risk from riding the rides! Take advantage of your last chance to RIDE the rides!
