I'm on day 37 of my cycle (Second cycle after my second loss). No ovulation yet. I did ovulate last month and everything was normal. I've spotted at least 25 of the last 37 days. It's been bright pink and brown. I have no idea if it correlates with sex. It might, but if it does, then it happens every time. I tried to call my Dr. yesterday to see if I should come in, and no one ever called me back (typical). When I googled a lot, I found that baby aspirin, since it is a blood thinner, could cause your cervix to bleed a little bit. I'm taking the baby aspirin for my blood clotting disorders. So, my question is, does anyone else who takes baby aspirin spot all the time? I've never ever had this happen to me. I'm wondering if it's just the Baby aspirin, which wouldn't worry me, or if it's something more serious? Should I make an appointment with the Dr. and not wait for them to call me or wait it out a bit longer?
I'm just so frustrated. I know annovulatory cycles happen once in a while, but that coupled with the spotting, coupled with two losses... I'm just at my wits end!
Update: My Dr. finally called back. She seemed unconcerned, but reiterated what some of you had said about wacky cycles. She said they wouldn't bring on my period until 60-90 days, so I guess I'll call back by then if I haven't ovulated yet and hope that the next cycle is more normal without all this stupid spotting.... waiting sucks!

Kristin, I too spotted like this for the first two to three cycl es following my m/c. I had an apt to see the Dr., but never made it in. Finally after the 3rd. cycle it just stopped. I thought maybe my cervix was irrated by the d&c, because I would spot after dtd and for about 2wks after AF ended. I have gone now almost 2 cycles and no more spotting. I hope your dr. can tell you the answer, as I never made it in to mine and was curious too. I never spotted like this with prior losses or d&c's. My gut says cervix.

I took baby aspirin while ttc (and still am) and never had any spotting. Even now, on both baby aspirin and Lovenox I haven't had any spotting, even after DTD.
I hope you get some answers.

I would go ahead and make an appt, at least then your doctor can check you out and make sure all looks good. Good Luck!
Edited to add that when I was a younger, I had a bad reaction to baby aspirin and it caused bleeding in my stomach. So maybe it could be the aspirin causing your spotting.

I take baby aspirin and haven't had spotting with it. But I did have some wacky on/off spotting my first couple of cycles after my second loss. Keep us posted!

I have had lots of abnormal spotting and I am a spotter LOL. I knew it wasn't right and made the dr run more tests. They did find out what was wrong. But I don't take the baby asprin so I don't know if that is the cause of your problems. I would say follow your instincts. You know your body and if you are worried make an appointment and get those worries sorted out. You don't want to TTC if you are stressed to begin with that is just no fun . Good luck and I hope you get some answers soon. Keep us posted (KUP?) I think that is what it means.

I would continue to bug the doc Kristin. I'm not sure if baby aspirin causing spotting. I think you would just feel better by going in to be seen. I hope you figure it out soon. Hugs!

i don't think it's probably the baby aspirin. i think it's your cycles after the m/c. i had the same thing, my first cycle after my 2nd loss was normal. but then my next four cycles were all weird. this last cycle was back to normal. sometimes it just takes you body a couple of cycles to regulate. i would still call the dr. again. G/L
