How long did you spot/bleed during your MC? I started spotting last Tuesday...it seems to be almost done now...(very light flow/spotting today) I guess I'm concerned that my lining still did not get thick enough...and that's why I lost my baby. It just doesn't seem like I have shed enough to have 11 wks of build up there. I have my dr. appointment tomorrow, adn I guess they will tell me if everything is done, but I am still concerned, I guess there really is no way I can know for sure.

I started spotting on a Wednesday night, m/c on Sunday and continued to bleed til about Thursday or Friday. But I was not as far along as you, in fact, I was 7 weeks but I wonder if my pregnancy had ever really developed because at the trans vag ultrasound on that Friday, there was no sac or anything in my uterus.

I would definitely get the doctor to continue monitoring your HCG levels until they get to zero. I pray you can do this all naturally and quickly so that you can TTC as soon as possible.

Many hugs for you!

Marci I was 7 weeks when I m/c'ed and I only had bleeding for 2-3 days, spotting for 2 before the bleeding and about 2 after. I am not sure but I think at some point in a pregnancy the lining would be a thick as it is going to get. I also know that it is hard to quantify how much bleeding has occured (ie can you accurately assess a volume of blood lost/passed - I don't think there is anyway I could).

I bled/spotted almost two weeks both times... so I'm sure it's very different for everyone! I did take HPTs at home for the second one, and it did take two weeks for my hcg levels to disappear. It dropped when the bleeding stopped for me.

When I was at the ER last Thursday, my HCG levels had dropped to half from my last which were taken just over three weeks earlier. I guess there is no real way to tell...please pray that everything is going well, and I don't need a D & C...and that the Dr. says that I can start trying again soon!!
