Hi ladies... I'm just trying to get a feel for how long this may take.
I had a miscarriage three weeks ago at seven weeks pregnant. Doc said to wait to TTC until after my next AF. I am very excited to start trying but what I REALLY want is to feel like my body is back to normal. Seriously. That would be incredibly liberating.
Anyone get AF after only a month? I'm feeling a little like I may start but then again - It may all just be in my head
Thanks!

I did but it was 28 days post a d & c that af showed. So that is probably very different to miscarrying naturally.
 on your loss.

One thing I ve learnt is that no one seems to be the same. I ve met ladies that have AF very quickly after and I ve met ladies who go 3+ months without AF
Its one of those things that there just is no answer to.

I had a natural m/c at 6 1/2 weeks and it took 3 months for AF to show. Everybody is different though, I've heard of ladies only bleeding for 5-7 days, when I had bleeding for 14 days. Good luck hun!

I had to go on medication to bring on AF after my D&C. I hope she visits you soon and that is the last you see of her for nine months!

I got mine about 4 weeks after but spotted lots so some research said that might not have been af. If that is true (which I doubt) then it was more like 8 weeks. I hope AF arrives soon, think that is the only time I will say that LOL, and then you don't have to see her again for a while . Good luck and welcome to the group.

I can totally relate with you. I had a natural miscarriage at 8 weeks a month ago. I have been thinking that AF is coming for a little over a week (because of cramping and such) and she is a no show. It can be frustrating because you just want to feel "normal" again.

I'm so sorry for your loss, hon.
I had a D&C at 12 weeks, and AF arrived 43 days later.
I hope she shows for you soon, and that you get a quick, sticky bfp!

I miscarried naturally at around 6 1/2 weeks. AF came exactly 28 days after the first day of bleeding from the m/c.

I am also wondering the same thing, but since I have PCOS, I am different, because I don't expect AF for 30-60 days!!

I had a natural m/c @ 9w6d. AF showed 23 days after the m/c (28 days after I first started to spot).

AF came for me 40 days after my D&C. I'm hoping this cycle is much shorter!

@ Loving 4: CONGRATS ON AF! Woo hoo! How releived you must feel
It looks as though the trend (I know that each woman is different) seems to be a longer wait after a d&c vs. a natural miscarriage.
It's only been 20 days for me... hopefully it won't be too much longer.
Thanks again!
@ oreobaby: I hope it's more like 30 days insrtead of 60 for you
