I found out on the 17th I was pg with 2 faint +'s on those cheap dollar store tests, after work I bought the FRER ones and that night it showed really faint and in the am better! All in all took 6-8 before realizing it was real.
Well I started to spot was it saturday or sunday, I cannot remember exactly because it was SO LIGHT PINK and had that with my DD. The midwife medically confirming my pg said it was normal don't worry about it. I WAS worried, even tho I knew it could be normal. By wednesday night it was dark pink and I headed off to the ER where they tested me every way and then some... made an appt with my old midwife's office for fri for a hcg test but had to wait for results. Ended up in ER that nite more hcg testing and it wasn't good. Last week tues thru thurs I had really heavy bleeding, clots n fleshy stuff after that the bleeding slowed but it has yet to go away. It's going on nearly 3 weeks now.
My next appt is wednesday 1:30, more tests...
How long has everyone bled for?
Also...
If they test my hcg to see if it is totally down and I O'd last week BD'd, if conception occured would they be able to catch some hcg in my bloodstream this wednesday already?

I bled for about two-three weeks. I think my Dr. told me that if it was still heavy after two weeks, that I should go in to get things checked out. By that time though, I had just been spotting.
Don't quote me on any of this - but from what I understand, I think HCG levels start rising at implantation - so that could be anywhere from 6-10 days after conception. So I guess it's possible to detect it now by blood test, but it might be difficult. If you definitely did O (confirmed by bbt or something - an O can be delayed after a loss), then you definitely wouldn't have any HCG in your system from the last pregnancy. Your body wouldn't O until your HCG levels dropped to near 0. Therefore, any HCG they did find would be from a new pregnancy.
Hope that helps! I hope you get some answers soon!!!!

Im so sorry for this rollercoaster you are on. If the bleeding has not endend from your m/c than the possiblity of O'ing is pretty slim. Your hcg would have to be completely out of your body and then ovulation would occur. But it sounds like since your still in the process of m/c that you may have retained tissue in your uteris and need your dr. to evaluate you again. Im sorry for this to happen to you and pray that you heal quickly and move on to a normal cycle.

It's weird tho I had EWCM around the same time this month that I O'd last month for me to have gotten pg according to their dates! I don't know... I guess anything is possible and I'm just trying to retain some hope.
I'm assuming by now the hcg would be gone by now if not by last week. My OB didn't check it last week. I don't expect much before I get my first AF, just being hopeful I guess
okay so I wasn't done and it posted (??)

I think the hcg wash out kind of depends on what the levels were before the mc. So if they were quite high, then it may take a bit longer for them to be back to 0. make sense?

Definitly makes sense, they weren't in the thousands only in the low hundreds then the last I heard 72 then 78. So it's very possible they were gone and I o'd around the 31st - 2nd
I'm curious as to what they have planned for the appt tomorrow. I know bloodwork, possible pap exam and tran vag u/s depending on what he finds or doesn't find
