I know that i am just being silly but DH and I have been ttc#1 now for 4 cycles since our loss. I am always really regular so we were just BDing alot around "O" time and i can almost always feel myself O. So far nothing but BFN....It was so wasy last time! I am just frustrated...I am going to go get a bbt tomorrow and start temping.
I am just kinda sad cuz now I feel kinda overwhelmed because I really dont know anything about charting but I have been reading alot tonight. I dont know why but starting to temp and chart makes me feel defeated...i know it hasnt been that long but for some reason it just really has me done in the dumps

I can totally relate to how you are feeling. When we TTC #1 we were barely even "trying", we had just stopped protecting. It took 5 cycles after my loss and I was also down in the dumps alot too. My DH kept reminding me that for normal, healthy couples it can take anywhere from 6-9 months (not sure where he got this fun fact, but he stuck to it). Have you been using opk's or anything like that? I never did start charting, but I did use opks and this last cycle I used pre-seed. Good luck hun!

Actually you can really learn allot about yourself and you may find that you're not O'ing as early or later than you thought. It can really lay out your cycles and make conception even more likely Stay positive, it's not a bad thing!!!

I know how overwhelming and frustrating all this is. None of us want to do it, but we're all here to help each other! If you need help charting, you will find all your help here! Promise! Once you get over the fact that you need to get up at the same time on the weekend to take it... it gets easier. ;-) After all, you can always go back to sleep!
HUGS! Maybe you'll get that BFP before you even need to use it!

I personally love to chart - I find it gives me some control over the situation and a lot of insight into how my body works. I use Fertility Friend (and do subscribe so I can access all the features) but I know there are a lot of other charting sites out there. You can also just do it yourself, but I prefer to let the computer do the calculations and I can't wait for my ovulation crosshairs to pop up on the screen! OK, guess I'm a charting nerd as well....
Don't let it get you down. For me, charting is my way of taking control of those overwhelming feelings and I know I'm not just leaving things to chance. This is my first full cycle after my m/c and just getting back into it has helped me focus on the future.
If you have any questions about charting or you can PM me.

I can relate to the defeated feeling. I started to use opks about two cycles after m/c and that helped me feel more in control, plus I got to POAS! Iam on my 5th cycle now and cant beleive how long its taking me, but I have learned so much through finding out when I o. I now know how long my leteul phase is and I feel even more confident that I can get pregnant again. I hope you start to feel better and more in control too.

Sorry you are feeling bummed out. I hope the charting helps and you get that BFP really fast. I have had a number of friends who charted, used opks and such and they taught me and I learned more about my cycles and it helps a ton. We have such a small window to catch the egg. Hugs hun you will get there.

So the more i think about it I think mayb i am just scared.....cuz just doing the BD all the time I can always say maybe it just wasnt the right time but if I know exactly when I "O" that i will get my hopes up too high and the bfn hurts that much more....I am going to try to just really get into charting and make it fun for myself!!!!
I told DH my perspective on the whole thing and he said he was proud of me? Proud of me? Now you sound like my dad....but for some reason it made me have a little meltdown and I cried...crazy hormones and CRAZY TTC stress!!!

I too love charting b/c I can actually see what in the world is going on. Though my dr is more set on using OPKs so actually I do both! If you haven't read it yet the best book on the subject, IMO, is Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler & the TCOYF software is the easiest to use... I can't get the hang of Fertility Friend honestly. GL!!!
