I'm not sure when to say I lost our baby, does that sound dumb?

I went into a *labor* of sorts, the consistant tightening pains and heavy bleeding around 6wks 3-4ds so is that when I would say we lost our angel? I still don't want to admit it to a date. But I do like the memorial siggy's and have wanted one to memorialize in a way my little angel

most will count the "loss" date as the arrival of heavy, AF-like bleeding (as opposed to spotting, etc.), or having a terminating procedure, finding no heartbeat, etc. on a particular day.

I chose to go with the day that I had my D&C because until that point I carried. I think each person goes with what works best for their situation. The tickers are very nice.

Sorry I'm late but I do agree with the others... I counted mine as the day I know I lost the baby. That is also the day of my D&C. I actually m/c the baby at home several hours before the D&C.

I had a natural m/c, so I count mine when my body physically started to take care of it. I agree, I think it's what feels right to you.

Even though I was told that my baby didn't grow much after my 8 wk 2 day ultra sound...I still say my MC was at 11 wk 1 d when the ultra sound showed no HB...I'm not sure exactly when in there I MC...but I got the heavy bleeding the day after.

I consider the day I got the D&C as the date of my loss. Until the ultrasound that they did that day, we didn't know for sure that Autumn had passed away.

However, knowing that she stopped growing at 9 weeks, I couldn't bear to keep any of the bump shots that were taken after that point.
