How long does bleeding last?? I have only actively bled for 3 days and spotted for 3 days before that. None of my bleeding was ever what i'd consider heavy. Last night my bleeding stopped and it still hasn't continued. Should I ask my doctor about this??

Iam so sorry for your loss and welcome you here. I had a d&c, so I cant really answer your question, but many of the women here have had natural m/c's. I pray that it ends soon for you and your body begins to heal.

I only bled for 3 days and spotted off and on for about 2 more. Each pregnancy/loss is different so I would not worry. You could request that they do an ultrasound to check that everything has passed if you are concerned but I have heard that they can not tell too much in early losses.

You were pretty early still, so the bleeding shouldn't be much more than a regular AF. Did you see or feel like you passed any tissue?? With my 2nd m/c I was only 4 1/2 weeks and I did see some bigger clots than normal, so I knew it wasn't just the usual AF. I bled for 4 days...then it stopped for a day...then picked up again for a few days. Everyone is different, so it's really hard to say how long you should bleed for. If you are really concerned you should ask your dr.

Yeah I also say don't worry each time is different. My first was heavy and my 2ndt seemed lighter even than my normal periods. Hope you're all done.

When I m/c naturally at 6 1/2 weeks I bled for 2 full weeks. Will your doctor be doing an u/s or blood work? As long as your numbers return to 0 and there is no remaining tissue, you should be good to go.

I know I asked the same question, and was told it was different for everyone, I am still having brown spotting, which is ok, because I still have some HCG in my system...so hopefully the continued spotting will get it all out!!

my beta was 16 last visit, so i am going for another Friday and will continue testing it until it gets to zero. There was not even a sac in my u/s so i am not too worried, i have passed tissue, nothing major, but more than a normal period so i think i'm good. Bleeding did pick up again this afternoon, but my temps are still high so i can't wait for them to go down to normal range. I am expecting at least 5-7 full days of bleeding.

Thanks for all of the responses.
