I had an early loss back in February.

Yesterday I got a BFP. Today I got a positive digital. Now this afternoon for about 2 hours I had bright red spotting. It's stopped for now. But how do you handle this? I just keep thinking surely I won't have 2 losses in a row and if this ends in loss what's the point in trying again? This is so stressful.

My OB's nurse knows my history. She told me yesterday that if I start having problems all they can really do is put me on bedrest and wait to see what happens. She said there's really nothing they can do to prevent a loss.

I'm waiting on her to call me back with my beta's and I'll mention it to her then.

Im so sorry things are not going so good right now, but unfortunately several of us here have had back to back m/c's. I pray this is not happening to you and the bleeding is something left over inside you. Good luck with the betas and let us know what the dr. says.

Hi Amanda...

I peeked in on the April board and noticed you had posted there... I left ya a message there but I'm going to answer you here too.

Anything is possible... you could be pregnant and having a little bleeding from implantation or just bleeding. I don't know for sure your situation tho, I see you had an early loss in February and I'm sorry to hear that

There are allot of women who suffer more than one loss in their lifetime, sometimes more than one before a full term pregnancy... I don't want to stress you out of scare you either.

Your best bet is to kick your feet up and rest, bed rest... call your doctors office and talk to the triage nurse. From there you and her can decide what to do like getting a series of beta hcg blood tests set 2-3 days apart to see if the numbers are rising (#'s doubling every 48-72 hrs) and then go from there... like an u/s right around 6-7 weeks. If they do it earlier they can see the endometrial lining but not much else as in with my case before I truly knew I was losing my babe in July.

So please stay relaxed, getting stressed and worked up isn't going to make anything better just harder on you. I know it's easy to say, but I'm having to follow that very same advice because I found some news out today that I'm also pg but still having some bleeding / spotting from my loss. (I haven't gotten AF yet that I know of, too early)

Amanda, are you cramping? If not, the spotting might not mean something bad. I know how hard it is to hear that and just not know, because I've been there. I had spotting for 4 days right around when I got my BFP, and there was cramping involved, too.

The only thing that keeps me sane some days is just taking it one day at a time. Breathe. Reach out for support. Remember that unless proven otherwise, your baby is ok.

I hope the spotting stops. Please KUP.

Hugs hun. Try to take it easy as much as possible. There really isn't anything you can do unless you are alot farther along. And I know that really sucks to hear. I myself have had 2 losses. Hugs hun and I pray you have a sticky bean.

Amanda... try to stay positive... I had bright red bleeding with my last m/c.... But that had nothing to do with my m/c... I still had a Heartbeat at that time. My Doc said it could of been irritation to my cervix (after a BM) or it could of been quite a few other things. If you only bleeding with no cramping... I would take that as a better sign. Sometimes bleeding happen in early pregnancy.. Please KUP.. HUGS my thoughts and prayers are with you..

It is so hard and I am sorry there is nothing I can say to make it any easier. I just tried to take it one day at a time and told myself that until I know otherwise my baby was ok.

I wish you a H&H 9 months and sending some *stickyvibes* your way!

Amanda i just wanted to drop in and offer you some support b/c i had the exact same thing happen with this pregnancy. I got a + hpt at DPO9 and on DPO10-11 i started to have bright red spotting which lasted about 48 hours...i totally panicked...called my OB who felt it was consistent with implantation bleed given the timing (the days I spotted also happened to be when AF was due and she said that's actually fairly common to have some "break through bleeding" around that time as well).

As long as you aren't cramping and the spotting remains light, try not to worry - (yes, i know that's impossible, but try) it does not necessarily mean a m/c is happening. After my spotting incident, everything was fine. You're in my T&Ps...KUP on how you're doing.

I had some spotting early on in my pregnancy, I think about the 5th week, and it was nothing. I did lose the baby later on, but I had bleeding and cramping then, the earlier spotting had nothing to do with it. I don't know if that helped or not, but just try to relax and unless you are cramping, it may be nothing. I hope you have a h&h 9 months. Sending you lots of sticky dust.

Thanks ladies! There's no cramping just spotting. And it comes and goes so I'm hopeful. I didn't make it in for my betas today b/c I forgot they closed at lunchtime. I tested again this morning and the line is darker.

Hopefully by Monday I'll have some answers. This happened when I was pregnant with my daughter so I'm hoping everything will turn out okay again. I just hate not knowing
