It's been 2 long weeks since the miscarriage ended. I only bled for 3 days. Two nights ago, I had some pain in my side. I had completely forgotten about those, since I didn't get ovulation pains (that's what I think it was) on the pill (yaz-had been taking it for a year). Well.. DH and I DTD and I blanked, not thinking about what the pain could mean, so we didn't use protection. So now I'm just really worried.. Would the lining in my uterus have built up enough by now to support a baby? Has anyone here managed to get pregnant before your first AF since the M/C? What happened?? I want to hear the good and the bad. I'm kicking myself now..
Thanks ladies..
I'm worried...

hey sky, don't stress, if your body isn't ready to get pregnant, it won't. Don't worry about the lining not being enough.

I agree. Don't stress. If the lining is not thick enough nothing will implant. And just as a note my sister got pg immediately after a miscarriage and now has a perfectly healthy baby girl!

Sky I hope my posts haven't added to your fears at all, if they have I'm EXTREMELY SORRY!!!
Please don't be scared, stay positive! (easier said than done, I know) We're all here for each other no matter what bumps are in the asphalt I hope there isn't any for you this time tho!!!
I know I've said this allot lately, but call your doc if you're concerned they can do the beta on ya to see if there's anything going on... if you want to go that road or just wait until AF is due. Either way we're here for you, but I hope that your fears melt away... anything is possible!
I've come across an article last week that might make ya feel a little better...
This is a portion of it... there was a part after this about Isreali study from 2003, but you have to remember there is difference in prenatal care there so I didn't post it.

Will Getting Pregnant Again Right After Miscarriage Cause Another Miscarriage?

Question: Will Getting Pregnant Again Right After Miscarriage Cause Another Miscarriage?
Doctors often advise women to wait a few months before getting pregnant again after a miscarriage, but will getting pregnant sooner increase the risk of a repeat miscarriage?
Answer:
There doesn't seem to be any reliable evidence to indicate that there's any increased risk in getting pregnant again right after miscarriage. Physicians commonly recommend waiting one to three months before trying for a new pregnancy, but often this is just a standard precaution "to be on the safe side" rather than a recommendation based in solid evidence.
Of the evidence that does exist, a June 2002 study in the U.S. looked at 64 pregnancies after miscarriage and found no evidence of pregnancy complications in those who conceived immediately vs. those who waited two cycles. In addition, a March 2003 study found evidence that women might have increased fertility in the cycle immediately after a miscarriage.
.....
That aside, for women without underlying medical issues and who eat healthy, balanced diets, it's possible that there's no increased risk in getting pregnant again right away. Obviously, if your doctor does advise you to wait, there may be a specific reason -- but don't be afraid to ask questions. Many women find the process of coping with miscarriage to be more difficult when they have to wait before trying to get pregnant again, so if this applies to your situation, it is perfectly okay to have a conversation about the reasons behind the recommendation.

I agree with the other ladies as well. After my 2nd loss my DR told me my body wouldn't fall pg unless it was ready and it obviously wasn't as we BD and nothing happened! Try not to worry too much.

SkyBaby - The member who recently popped in to update us, jmhick, got pregnant immediatly after a miscarriage. She's due in November, and her little girl is perfectly healthy!
I know it's hard not to worry.
Celena - Thanks for the article!

Don't stress yourself out. I believe that if your body is not ready, nothing will happen. I O'd and BD'd 2 weeks after my m/c....and nothing happened. I was disappointed, but I figured maybe my body wasn't ready for it yet. So I think if you end up with a BFP then YAY! My friend has a healthy 4 year old who was conceived a couple of weeks after her m/c...it can happen.

I agree with everything that's been said here; if you aren't ready, nothing will implant.
Try to relax, as we all know how hard that is. Enjoy the BD'ing for what it is (not just baby making.)

I understand your fear & even had the same fear myself when I thought I might have been pg. This is what I found that really comforted me in the fact that it was OKAY to be pg shortly after... TTC after d&c? - Trying to Conceive after Miscarriage - BabyCenter. For me, it was mom_o_THREE_Now's post that really comforted me. HTHs!
