Hi Ladies..
well last night I started spotting...not very much and it was brown so I was trying really hard not to start freaking out. I didn't sleep that well (obviously) and now this morning it's turned to pink. I don't know what to do....I can't stop crying and my DH is out of town so I'm all alone....I can't believe this might be happening again....

I'm so sorry! I'm going through the same thing. My OB told me on Wednesday it's fine as long as it's not bright red and your not having cramps.
It doesn't make me worry any less. I'll be thinking of you! ((HUGS))

Thanks everyone...I'm really crossing my fingers but for some reason I just don't feel good about this. I feel kind of helpless since I can't even call my ob until tomorrow. I"m thinking of going and getting more hpts so I can see what the line looks like, but is there even a point to that?

Taralyn, How far along are you? Do you have any cramps? With my last pregnancy (my m/c was due to a chromosomal issue) I had some early bleeding brown and than bright, red (it was after trying to have a BM.. I was constipated sry if TMI) I was brought in for Bloodwork.. and everything was OK. I was told it could of just been irritation to the cervix. I tell you this to try to get you to relax.. If your not cramping.. and it is only a small amount of bleeding.. it could be nothing... Hang in thier HUGS!

Thanks Kary,
I'll be 5 weeks on Tuesday...and I don't really have cramps or anything, but my lower back has been kind of achey since last night. I really really hope it's nothing...I can't do this by myself. I'm obviously going to call my ob first thing in the morning and hopefulyl they can get me in for blood work...I"m just so scared it's happening again....
I know this is grasping but I had a massage yesterday...could that have anything to do with it??

If it was me, I would sit back and put my feet up and try to relax today. Call your OB first thing tomorrow. I wouldn't bother with an HPT as it won't really tell you anything.

I know about seeing if the line is dark on a hpt.I've done that too.Try to relax, drink fluids and kick your feet up.If it helps you can go to the er and they will do a blood draw to measure hcg, then you can call your ob Monday and they would probably do another on Tuesday. It's up to you. With my m/c they did a vaginall u/s and we saw the baby and it's hb.It was so adorable. We did end up loseing it 5 days later. No reason why?Just did.i hope and pray your baby is safe and just snuggleing in more. Also wanted to say when I was preggo with Jarren I had brown spotting the whole first trimester,he's 10 years old now and healthy.

Thanks Melissa,
I actually did buckle and get an hpt...i just felt like I need to do SOMETHING!! The line showed up about 2 seconds after I peed on it and it is def dark, but I know that doesn't necessarly mean anything. I'll just call me ob first thing tomorrow and see that they say...I'm really crossing my fingers that it's normal...but I'm not really holding my breath

Hugs hun. I know the advice to tell you to try and relax will be hard to heed, but please just take care of yourself and do call the doctor in the morning. I hope it is all good news you will update us with tomorrow. Thinking of you!

Lots of hugs and sticky dust. I spotted through all three of my pregnancies. My first was from 5 weeks until about 20 weeks. And they thought we would loss her, but she is 4 now and sassy as can be . And yes it was pink. Spotting is not always bad, I hope this is the case for you and in 9 months we will see pics of your beautiful baby. KUP!

Taralyn... we all know how scared you must be right now!!!
Please like all the girls have said... relax, BE ON A BEDREST for yourself, stay hydrated, eat well and try to get into something like a favorite movie or a great book. It's HARD AS HE!! to distract yourself, we know, but for your sanity and reduction of stress level DO NOT ASSUME anything is wrong!!! Now if you get horrible cramps, bright red bleeding like when you cut your finger then DO NOT WORRY!
Tomorrow will be here soon and you can call your Ob... hopefully it's nothing, something as simple as left over implantation or maybe you have a yeast infection (?) I've heard the ladies here talking about how that can cause spotting.
All my thoughts and prayers are for your little bean to STAY PUT & BE HEALTHY
Have a good night and keep us posted lady... MWAH!
