Ok....
So, my problem is this...
I am not sure if the 1st day of my period counts as the day I started very light brown spotting on July 13 or the full on flow July 15.
Before my m/c I was having very short cycles, 22-24 days...
I got the positive "O" on July 27.
I poas (dollar store cheapie $1 Baby Test) and got a BFN today. I bought a E.P.T digital just a few minutes ago and want to figure out if I should save it for in the morning and do it or if I should just give in and do it now... and waste the $12 if it's a BFN.
Please someone do the math for me and tell me if it's too early to test or what I should do. I am having some lower back pain and some cramps that feel like AF is coming but no spotting or anything...

If you O'd on the 27th/28th, then that would put you at 13ish DPO (Sorry, I can't do math today either)? How long is your LP usually? If you're worried about the 12 dollar test, then I'd wait. Then, you'll have FMU and have a stronger line! It may still be early! Good luck! KUP!

If you got the positive O on July 27th, you could have ovulated that day or 24 to 48hrs later (depending on the sensitivity of the tests?). I guess if you were temping and knew that you had definitely ovulated on the 27th, you would be 14 dpo now? (I'm in Australia though so it's Monday morning here..you might be Sunday and 13 dpo).
So, I think you'd be on the brink of getting a reliable answer but you could save your digital for a couple of days, or at least til the morning if you could hold out!! Good luck if you do test.

Curiosity got the best of me... and I got a BFN.
The test said it could be used as early as 5 days before missed period, which I should fall into that category... so I am feeling really disappointed. I don't see any way that I could still be pregnant with the digital test being negative. Sniff Sniff...

I have short cycles too (20 days before April of this year), now they have increased to about 23 days. Due to my short cycle, I have never been able to get a BFP until the day before or day of missed AF.
So, don't give up yet! I hope AF stays away!
How was your vacation?

Ya I've read that about some, but not all have that low sensitivity even tho they claim to be as early as 5 days sooner (which is only 4days before your AF, ther %'ages are VERY low the further from AF's due date your are)
Sooooo, I wouldn't be totally disappointed... I'm assuming by calculations that you're about 12DPO and I dunno what your cycle runs, but I would wait a couple more days then test
I hope you get that good luck!!!

The first day of your cycle is the first day of "flow" according to all my drs I have asked. No idea if that helps or not. I do know that you aren't out until AF shows though so don't give up hope. Lots of sticky dust for ya, I hope this is your month.

Still no AF... minor cramping is gone and back pain is gone. I am trying to hang on to hope...
My DH doesn't want to keep ttc if it doesn't happen this month (I might could convince him to give it one more try next month)... but he feels that it's going to cause stress on our marriage if we keep going through highs and lows like we have this summer. Our pregnancy in June that ended in the m/c wasn't exactly planned... but it didn't take but a few minutes after seeing the BFP to get excited about a baby.
Anyway, that's where I am in my life and why I feel like this is my only chance
BTW- Missy, my camping trip was WONDERFUL. It was just what I needed to take my mind off of all of this. I missed getting to see and hear from all of you guys, so I am trying to catch up on everything I missed. We had great weather, only one day of rain... our only problem was a bear who terrorized our campsite every night looking for food. It was eerie to hear it outside our tent! But he was just hungry and didn't bother us, just our coolers and grill.

I am right where you are except it is because of my age. I feel that with every day that goes by the end is closer and closer. My BF felt the same way, if it was going to cause me so much stress he would rather come to terms that we won't have a baby and that we have so much good in our lives. The pain it causes me hurts him and I never realized it until last month. So we kind of took a break, NTNP. I am trying to stay calm and not speak to him about how I am feeling physically and just let the chips fall where they lay. It is so hard though. I honestly did not know how much I wanted a baby until we had the oooooooopse back last year and then again in February.
I am glad your vacation was great! We took a week long vacation in TN in the woods in a beautiful cabin. It was so relaxing and so much fun. I need to win the lottery so everyday can be vacation
((Hugs))
