We lost our baby at 14wks on June 16th. We found out at 11wks 6days but I didnt actually miscarry till 14wks. I lost alot of blood and became anemic.

I am just wondering if I would be healthy enough to ttc again now? I have been taking juice plus,iron,b12,folic acid and some other stuff. I also have a thyroid problem and my Dr lowered my dose a week before I lost the baby. I changed Dr and he up it back up as soon as I saw him after the loss. So this could of been the reason for my loss but there is no way of knowing this. I know that thyroid problems can cause losses.

I am so scared of another loss but want a baby so bad. Should I ttc again now or wait? I also get very very ill the first 6wks which I will not be looking forward to but I want a baby.

I am so sorry for your loss. Assuming that you have had one AF since your loss you should be ok to ttc again. Did your doctor give you any guidance? Most of the time your body will not get pregnant if it isn't ready to. Sounds like you are taking care of yourself so I can't imagine there would be a problem with it. Good luck with TTC I hope you get a bfp very soon.

I think my Dr thought it was fine to ttc again since he asked if we would be ttc again right away. I just told him we were not sure at that time.

I have not been eating to healthy though. Its so hard. I think with the stress of everything I have just been eating for comfort. I gained all the weight back that I lost from being sick with the pregnancy. That was about 12 lbs. Uggghhh I do eat lots of vegi's though, I just eat sugar and some junk along with it. LOL

I'm really not sure. I miscarried at 8wks 4days and my doc recommended waiting one cycle before ttc again. I guess your doc is the one who will know if he's happy with your thyroid medication etc.

My OB Dr thought it was fine the way it was but I have a different Thyroid Dr that lowered my meds and then I changed Dr's because I didnt feel they should of been lowered. So my new thyroid Dr upped them again so everything should be fine as far as thyroid goes.

I just dont know if the loss was from some sort of vitamen defency or the thyroid or something that just happened. So I thought I would try and get myself as healthy as possible before ttc again. Its been 2 and half mths at the end of August.

My doc said we could start trying even BEFORE one cycle. I would say you are probably fine to start TTC again since it has been 2.5 months and on top of that you are under the care of a doctor.

If you are concerned though call your dr and see what they say. I would think they would have told you flat out how long you should wait - even if you answered that you didn't know if you would be TTC again.

I think at this point it's up to you as feeling emotionally ready to TTC. Definitly run it by both your doctors so they could perhaps team up to help you with a successful pregnancy
