Hi! I don't normally come here, but I just have a quick question for y'all...
Four weeks ago I had a m/c at 8 weeks. Everything passed on its own and I didn't have to have a d&c. I bled for a solid week, and nothing since. About a week after the bleeding stopped, I noticed a little ewcm. It wasn't a lot, and it was only once.
Stupid me... I didn't do much research before then. I didn't think I would be fertile again until after af started back. We haven't been using any protection.
How likely is it that I could get pregnant again before af comes back? I don't really have any symptoms and don't really think I'm pregnant, but I can't get it out of the back of my mind. Obviously I would be super worried about another m/c, especially this soon. But at the same time, I would love to be pregnant again if everything would be ok. Mentally, I'm mostly ok with the m/c. It still makes me REALLY sad to think about it (I should've been entering the 2nd trimester about now...), but I'm ready to move on. Physically, I have no idea. I feel fine, but who knows what's going on in there, you know?
Ugh... what do y'all think? Am I just over-analyzing?

was it just one day of EWCM or just one time you noticed it?? IDK... I had a tiny bit but not enough to even be fertile. I know I haven't O'd yet b/c I chart. Its hard to tell but it is possible to get pregnant after a m/c.

First off... I am so sorry for your loss.. And you are Welcome on this board anytime, questions and all! Ok.. yes you can get pregnant before AF comes, Only if your body is ready for it. M/C again is a fear we all have. Medicaly thier is no reason to wait to TTC after a m/c, they tell you to wait due to emotional reasons and to date the pregnancy. I was told by my doc... after a "chemical pregnancy" in Nov and a chromosomal issue m/c in Jan.. had a d/e a week later in Feb. We were given the go ahead.. and told I have no more chance to m/c again than I did before we started trying. Some people just have all the luck....(like me) and go on to m/c again... while other go on to that healthy pregnancy. I hope everything turn out the way you want it.. KUP HUGS

Thanks for the replies.
I just noticed it one time, but I wasn't really watching for it. I guess we'll see...

I am so sorry for your loss. Kary about said it all. Yes, you can get pregnant right away. My midwife asked that we wait 1 cycle for dating purposes and to see how I was doing emotionally but then in the same sentance said "if you end up pregnant right away, it is ok too".
Welcome - Glad you found us, so sorry you are here.

UPDATE...
Holy cow... I'm so excited and nervous. I'm scared this is too soon, but at the same time I have a good feeling about it. Thanks for all the advice and kind words.

Yes you can get pregnant, the first few months after miscarrying women tend to be VERY FERTILE (according to my new perinatal doc)
I hope that your doctor is open minded and looks at this as a new pregnancy, treating it accordingly. I wish the best for you and sticky vibes for your little bean~ Stay positive and stand your ground if your doctor may not agree with you, you know your body best!!! Good luck and CONGRATS on your
PLEASE, STAND YOUR GROUND WITH YOUR DOCTOR!!!
I am going thru a horrible 2 months... I have a journal that I just posted about it. My old doctor didn't think it was possible and yes I became newly pregnant just a couple days after miscarrying... like you I had EWCM and on top of that O pains from my right ovary a couple of days after that... so I had to go get a 2nd opinion who confirmed my gut instinct. I don't want anyone to go thru what I did
