I have a Dr appt scheduled for Sept 16th. Here is my dilemma, should we try this month and possibly get pregnant again before the appt? Here is the thing, we are planning on preventing Sept-Oct since due date for those months would correlate with Dh being gone on military training. So we won't have a chance again until November. I hear from my neighbor who works with this Dr I'm going to see that she is very thorough and good at what she does.
At this point we don't know if anything is wrong with me or is causing my 2 miscarriages and my 1 chemical. I'm not really counting the chemical as much since nothing developed from it, I'm looking at it like a late period more than anything.
What should we do? DH says he thinks we should try as long as I am emotionally prepared if not we should wait. I am emotionally prepared as I possibly could be.

If you get to see your dr. right around the corner, I would opt. for waiting it out. Thats just IMO. But, on the flip side, these kind of situations sometimes produce the one that sticks, just purely out of timing(right before the dr. apt.) Good luck with what you decide, either way, its right around the corner for you

I would try too. You never know what will happen and it could be a missed opportunity. And if nothing happens, well, your appointment is not far off. Good luck in whatever you decide.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm starting testing this week and not sure if throughout the cycle we should still try and hope for the best or just wait until the tests are done and go from there.
Since you still have 1 month before you will see this dr. I would try and you never know...this may be it! I really hope that this time it will happen for you. Like Shortcake said, if it doesn't work then you are still seeing the dr. and if it does that we can celebrate!!! I'd say go for it!

I was in the same boat as you. I have had 2 m/c and 1 chem. as well. DH and I do have a son who is 3 but our RE is still running all the test for recurrent m/c because we really want to find a reason. We were told to wait for one month to do all the testing. Today is my last test (some saline in the uterus thing) and honestly this month flew by and it wasnt a big deal.
I dont think there is anything wrong with trying either unless they are going to do specific tests that you cant be pregnant for. It is hard but hopefully you will find answers soon.
BTW, you are such a pretty girl! Good luck to you. Fingers crossed for us both.

Yea, I'm leaning towards going for it. This will be an initial visit, I don't even know what testing she will do yet. I mean, I may not even get pregnant but why waste an chance.
Its kind of shocking how many people over here are struggling to stay pregnant lately. I wonder what could be making it so much more common?

If I was in your shoes.. I would also try. If it happens it happens.. and you might be less stressed.. having in the back of your mind that you have the Drs apt. So relax.... and go for it.. GOOD LUCK!

I hope this is your month and that the dr isn't needed. I would try just because you know it will be a couple months before you will try again. It can't hurt either way right? Good luck.

OMG! I'm in your same boat. My Dr.'s appt is Sept 11...it got rescheduled from last week. Anyway, we are definitely going to TTC this cycle even if it means I may be pregnant again before the appt. It just feels right to us and honestly, depending on if they find anything new or not, I'm not sure what type of intervention I want to do at this point (ie daily injections). I may be leaning towards taking aspirin and extra folic acid the next pregnancy.
We're in the military too. Our schedule is super unpredictable right now...there is a chance that we might not be together at a potential due date. But I feel like we have spent so much time trying to "time" the last two years that it just doesn't matter anymore. We just want a healthy baby, if you know what i mean.
Good luck!
