Does anyone know what is good? I am getting mixed reviews. I got the results of all my tests back today and the RN told me everything looked good. I am still waiting for the Dr. to call me but my FSH level on day 3 was 9.9. The RN said anything under 12 was fine. I did some research online and that lead me to believe that 9.9 is high for a 33 year old. So confused. Thanks.

It varies on the internet but my doctor said anything under a 10 is good. I am going in the am to get my FSH test done. I would say put faith in your doctors opinion as the results of the tests vary by where you have them done.

I don't know what the exact levels should be, but the lower the better is what I was told.

Have you spoken to your doctor about the test results?

that seems high to me for your age. but other hormones can change fsh. if your estrogen is low, your fsh can be falsely higher and if your estrogen is high, your fsh can be falsely lower. basically if your hormones are outta whack, your fsh can be affected and not accurate. i would talk to your dr. about it. did you have other hormones tested?

Do you have a med. degree Lynda?? I have had all the hormones tested and 2 REs both told me that my levels are all fine. The most recent dr. has been on CNN and Oprah and basically played a huge part in creating PGD (so I think he might have some knowledge). Anything under 10 is fine and over 12 they start to worry, those were his exact words.
