So I went for my appointment this morning and the nurse took 12 vials of blood. My gosh she really sucked me dry. She even gave me a form to take to another lap for a few tests, since they don't do them here at the clinic. I left work early, but turns out that this test is only done Mon-Wed. Ugh! It's for Anti-cardiolipin, Lupus Anticoagulant and APTT. I googled them, cause I need to know what I'm giving my blood for...hehehe and it was actually legible on the form. Turns out it's to check for clotting disorders and autoimmune diseases, which are linked with recurrent m/c. I told the nurse about my recent chemical, so she can add that to the chart and she was pretty sure my issue is with staying pg, not getting pg. I feel so much better that I'm getting these tests done. The nurse also told me not ttc this cycle, due to the kinds of test they are doing. I guess it will be a nice break. Oh and the bt is gonna cost me $55, since OHIP doesn't cover it. I hope my insurance will pay me back.

Sounds like your doctor is being proactive and can hopefully get some answers for you. I don't have health insurance so when the bills come it is pretty hard so I understand your frustrations with the bill.
Is she doing a FSH test?

I don't know what else, but with the 12 vials of blood they took this morning, I'm sure he's checking for that too.

I had 3 chemicals in a row after a stillbirth and was diagnosed with lupus anticoagulants.
Lovenox shots, baby aspirin and progesterone did the trick for me the first cycle I started them!
Good luck!

That is so great that they're taking care of you and testing for everything they think it might possibly be, I really hope that there is nothing wrong tho... or if there is it is something super simple to take care of, but still I REALLY HOPE & PRAY you are *OK* Trish

That's good they are doing so many tests, hopefully this way you can get some good answers. Hopefully everything is normal, or something that is easy to treat.

I'm glad that you're getting tests done and hopefully getting some answers. Maybe with this you can get a bit of control over the situation.
