My purpose in posting is that, invariably, when one asks "Where is AF?", she appears! I am officially 2 days late on a cycle where there is no way I am pregnant. I was away for school for exactly 8 days around my normal O date (yes, 4 days before O and 4 days after). No, I don't chart so I don't know for sure...but still, I was gone for quite a while in that special week.
We are having a party tonight at my house! I have been looking forward to drinking...but I cannot drink if I do not see AF. (I have guilt issues for drinking in my first 2 pregnancies before I knew we were pregnant).
I went to Wal Mart late last night and bought the cheapest pregnanacy test there was. I finaly understood why the blue dye test SUCK!! I believe I got a negative result but the results were just kinda unreadable.
What to do? I know I can't be pregnant...but...I didn't get a clear negative. I hate to spring for a digital on a cycle that is a bust.
Come on, AF!

Ugh! that is frustrating! I hope AF shows soon for you. It used to be that whenever I poas AF would show up. Maybe if you do buy that expensive digi, she'll show. Just keep in mind that the 'cheap' tests aren't as sensitive as the FRER or even the Clearblue Easy digi and they won't pick up anything under 50 or 100 hcg. I would buy a FRER just to ease my mind.

Thanks ladies! I went out and bought some digitals last night and took one before our party. BFN. I decided to have some drinks at our party...I hope I don't regret that.
Also, I had KILLER cramps last night. I was almost doubled over. I hardly ever get menstruation cramps that that was really wierd. And my lower back is hurting. But still no sign of AF at all. No spotting, no brown...nothing.
This has never happened to me before and it's driving me CRAZY!

Nothing!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaah. I tested yesterday with a crappy test and nothing. This is bad, I'm not a super freak-out person but I'm freaking out. Is totally missing a period normal?
I'm having some dull cramps and just don't feel great in general. Once in a while, I have felt nauseous. Oh, and my lower back is killing me. But, I DO NOT think I'm pregnant because
1) I don't feel at all like it did the first 2 times when I was pregnant
2) I was gone the entire week I should have O'd and
3) the test I took yesterday makes 5 BFNs all taken AFTER my period was due.
So...6 days late and counting. Thanks for checking in ladies...I NEED you guys to get through this one. DH thinks I'm nuts...haha.

You know how sometimes our bodies go thru a "cleaning house" every 7 years approximately? Maybe your body is just going thru one of those?
I wish I had the answers for you or a magic wand to make the outcome you want to happen, happen!
Sorry you're still in limbo... you can shimmey under it tho (get it, limbo... shimmey under it? LOL, I'm a dork!)

I'm sorry your cycle has been frustrating this cycle...I hate it when it does that...I hope you can get some answers soon...can you go to a dr. and get a blood test, and if you aren't then you can something to get your cycle going? (provera??) I'm not sure if it would cost you for a blood test??? I hope something happens soon, but I do hope you get a surprise

I really didn't notice anything this cycle because I went into this cycle thinking it was a bust for us (because I was gone so long in the middle of the month). I don't recall feeling any of the usual signs. We did BD before and have BD'd since I got home but I paid no attention whatsoever.
I can walk right in at any time and do a urine test at my clinic (free). The bloodtest is also free BUT you have to see a dr. and they have to order it. I have an appt for Sept 8th and that was the first available. I will call and see if they had any cancellations.
