OPK question..

Um, so I've been using them "to try them out" this cycle even tho we're not trying until after AF... have you ever had one that only the test line showed up? I thought we ALWAYS had some sort of amount of LH in our system it just surges which lets us know when we're about to O.

I have to take a pic of the ones I have and post them

I have had a couple with no line or a faint line which means your levels are super low. the other day i have one with three lines. I called the 1800# and they said that also happens

Haha! What exactly did they say 3 lines meant? That is really funny.

they said as long as the lines are showing either darker or lighter that indicator lines it doesn't matter how many lines you have. when i first saw the 3 I was freaking out that maybe I was going to end up like octomom. LOL

Yeah, I've had some with no line. I guess the level is so small that it doesn't get picked up. It also depends on which kind you are using. I think the ICs are more sensitive, but a bit confusing to read.

I have the cheapie, real thin WONDFO brand... something cheap from ebay and they seem ok enough. I might get something different after I'm close to running out of these. Altho, they serve their purpose... the lineson the hcg strips are pretty light tho even at 100+ hcg (have you noticed that at all?)

Most of the time I have no line until I start getting close to Ovulation. Than I start to show a faint line, and it gets darker for me... I have only had one +, I usually miss my surge. Where it is so close... but yet not quite darker.. untill this past month. It was +, beyond a doubt. And the line is always lighter than HPT for me.

Ok Kary, I thought maybe they were just cheapies and weren't as good as some of the other ones that people were using here.

I use the internet cheapies too and mine are always completely blank in the test line area until the day before ovulation. The day before O it has a line there but lighter than control, then on the day of O it is dark. Day after goes faint again, then back to nothing.

I only get one line until I get really close to O time. I've never had 3 lines!

I never get a test line until 2-3 days before Oing. And I've never gotten a total as dark/darker line - it's always been one side of the line is dark and the other side is light. I use internet cheapies and the company said that as long as part of the test line is as dark/darker than the control to consider it positive. And I know I've ovulated, so i guess it works.
