I haven't been on JM much the last few day since I broke my foot Saturday night. Ugh. I had my appt. with the orthopedic Dr. today (finally) and the news isn't great. There's a good chance that I'm going to have to have surgery and get a screw placed. I have to go back in 3 weeks for a follow-up x-ray and if it's not healing as well as he would like then he will do surgery. Yay! Then I get to start all over with the healing process!!! I have a walking boot for stability, but I can't walk - non-weight bearing until the next visit and probably several months after (like I could walk if I wanted to! Ouch!). Anyway, I'm hobbling on crutches now and doing lots of research on this fracture - Jones Fracture - and am thinking that I'm going to stop now...there are tons of horror stories about how this type of fracture heals poorly, even with surgery, and it can take up to 6-8 months to heal! Eeeek! All over slipping on a twig. Leave it to me....

Good news is I'm 9dpo today....and have been really nauseous the last 2 days....but that could be from pain?!....let the POAS fun begin!!!

Poor you! What luck to slip on that twig and break your foot in such a fashion. I hope that it heals on its own and you won't need surgery. Good luck poas!

keeping my fingers crossed that you don't need surgery. keep us posted on the poas situation. break a leg means good luck maybe break a foot means you get your BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH YUCK! For the news. But I have to say I love the way Aimz thinks!! Come on BFP! When are you testing? Can't wait to hear. KUP on the surgery.. Hopefully by the next X-ray it will look better.. fingers crossed!

Awe Krystal, wouldn't it be the luck of everything that you get a BFP now and you won't be able to "happy dance" you could happy hobble or happy wiggle on your bum (just trying to be silly and cheer ya up)

I'm sorry about all the scarey information out there, you're not one of those people's stories so *praying* you're blessed with GOOD healing! Definitly have you in my prayers and even more so that you get a BFP!!!! I'm glad you updated, was wondering how you were hanging in there... I hope they gave you something for the pain :-/ that has to be unbearable!
