I went and seen my brothers new little girl. It was hard, since I know I should be having my little girl in 24 days.. and that will not happen. She was a BIG girl 10 lbs 3 oz 20 inches long. She is too cute.. She looks like I did when I was born. That hurts... I know it sounds stupid.. but shouldn't it look like my sister or brother? NOT ME!!! MY little girl should look like ME! My mom is going to send me a picture when I was little and I will post it and see what you ladies think.

aw, she's precious. congrats to your family! i'm sorry you are having mixed emotions. i can't imagine how hard it must be since your dd were so close together. hang in there and give that sweet baby lots of hugs! she won't be a baby for long...

Oh Kary, she is such a cutie and I love the name. I'm sure it was very hard. Just looking at the pic makes me want to cuddle a baby. Wow at the 10lbs..holy moly.

Oh, she's lovely! I'm sure it's very bittersweet for you...I know it's hard for me around babies...but how wonderful to have that beautiful niece!!

AWWW I was wondering if your sil had baby yet. Congrats to your family, she is such a cutie.
I think the mixed emotions are normal, and will get better as time goes by and Summer Ann gets older.

Oh my what a big girl but so cute. Glad they are doing well, sorry it is so emotional for you. Wish I could give you a big hug.  You are a great aunt for going to see her with all you have going on and being sick to boot.

Such cute squishy baby cheeks, makes ya wanna kiss 'em up! Kary she is very cute... I'm really sorry that it was hard on you today, but it sounds like you did really well considering. Your feelings are totally valid and normal, it's *ok* to feel the way you. Don't beat yourself up over it, it's alright... and NO, what you said is NOT stupid!!! Your feelings are NOT stupid!!!!
(hey, if it makes you feel better I was very jealous, angry and sad when my sissy had her baby at the end of July)

Oh my, she DOES look ALLOT like you did as a baby!!!! Holy MOLY, there's no denying the resemblence!!!!
