Hi everyone-

My first AF since my M/C made an appearance 3 days ago and it is horrible! The cramps are really bad and I am bleeding sooo much heavier than before. Has this happened to anyone? I was getting a bit concerned with the bleeding that I thought of calling the doc.....
Thanks

i've had 3 afs since my d&c. all have been much heavier than before. cramps haven't been too bad, though. and, the bleeding hasn't been alarming, just heavier. if you're concerned, definitely give your doctor a call.

i'm sorry for your loss...

I did get heavier bleeding and more cramping than before on my af post-D&C's. It wasn't anything that I was too concerned about though - it was more than I usually bleed, but not as much as I did right after the procedure and definitely not a pad an hour. If you are worried and in a lot of pain, then definitely call your Dr just to check! Hopefully it is better by tomorrow! I'm sorry!

If you are going through a pad in an hour I think you are supposed to call. That is what they told me. Mine were heavier and more painful. It got to the point I was taking prescription pain meds instead of just motrin. I hope your pain goes away soon. Hugs hun I am so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. My AF cycles have been pretty different since my loss. For the first 2 cycles the cramping was so bad I almost went to the ER. I spoke to my dr and they said that everyones body reacts/heals differently and that it was normal.

If you have concerns, please call your doctor.

Sorry for your loss, AF took over 5 months to get back to normal and even then it has never been the same since my loss. I agree with the ladies above if you go thru a pad an 1 hour get checked out.

Yes. my AFs have been much heavier since the m/c..usually days 1-4 and they are also lasting longer. the first AF did involve a lot of cramping. Hope you feel better soon!
