I was expecting a really hard AF. I've had no cramping not even slight cramping. Just bleeding. The bleeding is a slightly lighter color than I'm used to having on my AF. No clots like I'm used to. Just straight blood. Sorry for the tmi.. is it normal for it to be this light? I didn't have a D&C. Didn't want one and didn't need one. I've been testing every couple weeks since the MC and no even slightly positive looking tests. Is it supposed to be this light? I've never had long periods. A normal period for me is 24-36 hours of cramps and bleeding for about 3 days. It seems I'm already almost done. Not much else has come out. Is this normal? I hope I'm not all screwed up in there.

Everyone is different after a miscarriage. I had a very heavy AF after my miscarriage but that probably meant I didn't completely clean out with the miscarriage. Basically it sounds like your body is building up its lining and that is why there are no clots, etc this time around. If you are worried you could call the Dr but I wouldn't be too concerned until a few cycles go by with this same light AF (although I hope you don't have any more AF's for about 9 months ).

Since you just m/c about a month ago it probably just hadn't built up that much...
Everyone is so different it is hard to say. I would say call your dr if you are unsure just to have that reassurance.

My first AF after my m/c was SUPER light, and not at all "normal". I actually thought that it might be Asherman's syndrome and got an appointment with my Ob/GYN, but she said that after a m/c and D&C (I know you said you didn't have one) your AF can be radically different from your "normal". She said there really is no normal.
My AF was really heavy after that first light one, so I figured everything was OK. Generally, when your flow stops, or becomes extremely light, that's more of a red flag.
I worried myself silly about everything, so I can't say don't worry, but hang in there!

Everything said here is what I went through as well. Light then heavy. Sounds like your natural m/c was very complete and your body did exactly what it was supposed to when you m/c'd. Dont be surprised if your next one(hopefully not) will be much heavier though....Sounds very normal though what you have spoke about..

JessP- That's what I think too. My period was so light because there just wasn't much to shed. I'm already nearly done. Just about nothing has come out for the past 5 hours or so.
N.M.Hood- What is Asherman's Syndrome?
My period is almost done now. I think it was so light because there just wasn't much of anything to shed. I think it will be a good sign for it to be heavy again next time.
Momof4Lopez- My doctor told me my body was doing everything it was supposed to do. I think this period was so light because as I was explaining to everyone else, there just wasn't much to shed ya know? I hope my next one is heavy so then I know I have some lining in there now and things are back to my normal.

My first period started light, and then started to dry up and i thought i was done. Then suddenly it came back heavy and with clots. My AF ended up lasting over 2 weeks.
