Some of you might remember that I bled for 30 something days out of a freakishly long 64 day cycle last month (I did ovulate.. it just took forever). I called my Dr., and they said things like this happen after multiple miscarriages.

Ok, fine. So here I am hoping this cycle would be better.. and I'm on day 9. AF was long but nothing crazy. It went to spotting on day 7. Then yesterday, day 8 - I started to get SUPER BAD CRAMPS. I started bleeding again. DH and I DTD, because I'm stupid and somehow thought it would make me feel better (idiot award here, I know), and I bled a lot last night. And I'm still bleeding bright red blood, and still cramping... this is more than spotting, and it was going on before we did it, so I know sex is not what caused it.

Does this sound like a cyst or something? I know I could call my Dr. again, but they usually take a few days to get back to me and I'm teaching most days (which means I'm never around my phone). Besides, I'll probably be told it's normal...

I don't have a fever. Just a lot of red blood and a lot of pain!

I would get an appt to see your doctor maybe have an ultrasound done. I know there isn't a "normal" after m/c but that doesn't sound like it should be happening.

I agree with Shortcake. make an appointment to see the doctor in a few days. If it has stopped by then maybe you cancel the appointment but if not there has to be something they can do. I would have suggested that its just your body's way of completely cleaning out and starting over but that would have been BEFORE the 30 day bleed you had last cycle. That should have cleaned everything out for you.

In the meantime make sure you eat well and get lots of fluids. You are losing a lot of blood (iron) and will need extra fluids to help your body keep its energy. Take care of yourself and make sure you keep us posted!!

I would make an appointment for an ultrasound. Uterine Polyps tend to cause extended periods of bleeding. My T & P's are with you!

Thanks ladies. I called this morning and she said if I'm still in pain and bleeding by the end of the day, then I should call back.. so I'm going to take some ib profen and drink some tea and hope this gets better. She said it could just be breakthrough bleeding, or a second period (on day 9!). I guess it depends on whether or not the pain goes away.

No matter what it is, I can't believe I'm still so messed up.

Hoping you are feeling better now or at the doctor's as I type this. I hope that you get some answers. The whole post m/c thing is such a rollercoaster emotionally, why does it have to be physically too? My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Wondering how you are doing. I know when they found my polyp it was because I was having lots of extra bleeding all month, horrible cramping with my periods and it sucked. Now I am fixed and my period was shorter, and not as painful. Thinking of you.
