No sort of resolve except for...PCOS has a higher rate of loss. sigh...
So anyway, I am back to square one...the only thing that is changing is #1 - I am hopefully going to get all my blood tests done. I am hoping that witch shows up tomorrow so that I can go for my CD 2 blood tests. DH doesn't want to try again till we get the blood tests done, so if I start any time after tomorrow (like on the weekend) this cycle will be a bust too, and I will probably go MIA, simply because it was hard enough to wait the 40 some odd days for this cycle to go through without trying, to have to wait again. sigh...
The good thing is is that he gave me a prescription for progesterone so when I do get another I will be started on that right away, and hopefully it will help me have a super sticky bean...
I have never asked for the witch in my life, but she is trying really hard to make an appearance...but just not quite hard enough, if you guys could pray that she comes tomorrow, so that I don't have to wait another cycle, that would be great!! Thanks

I just had a little talk with DH...
Let me know if you guys think this is a good idea, or if I should just let things go normally...
I talked to DH because my biggest fear of waiting another cycle is that it will be one of those don't ovulate till day 50 cycles...so I asked DH...since we get paid for the meds anyway, maybe I could take the fermara this cycle even though we aren't trying so that I can at least ovulate like a normal person?! Do you girls think this is a good idea, or do you think it's just going to cause issues?

I hope AF shows up for you. As for the meds I am not sure as I don't know much about them. I would go with whatever you feel most comfortable with. Also does your dr office not have a place you can go for the blood test on a weekend? I would ask.

I pray the witch comes so you dont have to decide weather or not starting the Femera now is a good idea unless your speaking of when this af arrives. I dont know anthing about this med, so I dont know if you have to take it on a certain cycle day or if it will ultimately keep your AF away even longer. So many questions, ie., pcos, your cylce length, ovulation meds, not sure honey. You know more about these meds, so just make an educated guess and I pray that you get your bfp before another cycle passes.

I am TTC with PCOS and took Femara successfully, I think that if it's okay with your doctor, starting the Femara would be a good idea. I took it the last three months (and last year when I conceived my son) and it has been really really nice to have a 30ish day cycle again.

What CD2 blood tests are they doing? My doctor just did a FSH test on me but that was CD3 or 4... Just curious.

There are places you can get the blood tests done on the weekend, but it is the long weekend here in Canada, and we are going to the lake for the last weekend...
The CD 2 tests he wants me to do are TSH, FSH, Testosterone, LH Prolactin, Estradiol, SHBG sex hormone binding, Free Androgen, DHEAS, 17-OH Progesterone....
The Fermara will help me to O on a normal date. As you can see this cycle, I didn't O till CD 29, the cycle I got PG, I didn't O till CD 30...taking the fermara would just ensure that instead of starting the 2WW at CD30, I would be ending it...it essentially gives me two more weeks of trying...which doesn't seem like much I know, but there is the possibility it could be a 60 day cycle. KWIM?? I take the fermara on CD 3-7, and this helps my follies grow, so that I O earlier, (between CD 12 - 21 I believe the dr. said.) If I could be gaunteed that it would only be a 40 or 45 days cycle, then I wouldn't worry about it, but because I have the fear that it will be a 60 day cycle, I would rather be safe than sorry because I'm now waiting two months to get through a cycle instead of the normal 30 days that most girls have to wait. I don't think it would be bad for my body. I am going tomorrow to make sure my Beta's are negative, since that was the only stipulation my dr. gave me before I started the fermara.
I am going to think on it and pray about it...it will not do harm to my body, the dr. did say that even though I did get pg with just the metformin, he would like me to use the fermara as well, so that I have more chances in a month catching the eggie. Sorry this is so long, and if you made it to the end thanks...thanks for your thoughts girls...I hope that I have helped you understand it a little bit better as well!!

I know the wait can be painful! I (personally) would ask your dr about the Femara, if your dr is okay with it I would do it. The only concern I would have is that Femara is like Clomid & can overstimulate your ovaries. You know you should also consider having your thyroid checked as well. That was one of my initial problems & I had to push to get him to check that... he wasn't even going to do it. He just kept telling me I'm fine, I should be getting pg so he finally tested it & I have hypo. Needless to say after that I found a new OB, one who is more knowledgeable.
