So, I had a light flow this morning, and now, just spotting...I went and got my CD 2 bloodwork done, cause this morning I was still having a light flow, but now, I'm mostly just spotting again...do I still consider this CD2?? Do I still start the fermara tomorrow??

I am probably going to call my dr. but thought I would ask you girls what you thought.

Hmmm, that's a good question. CD1 & CD2 are always super heavy for me and then taper off, so I've never really experienced light then spotting. I guess it would depend on if your flow picked up again later today. I would definitely call your Dr. to make sure. They usually don't consider just spotting to be AF. KUP.

Marci - did you have a D&C or did you miscarry naturally? Either way everyone's first AF after a loss is different. Mine with my first miscarriage was HEAVY and painful. My first AF with this most recent loss was very light. Perhaps it depends on how well your body did in cleaning itself out with the miscarriage.

I would still consider this CD2.

I MC naturally, but bleed heavily sorry if TMI, but bleed through a pad twice during my MC (which I have never done before) I feel like I cleaned myself out pretty good...I am still having some cramping, so I'm hoping I'm gonna get started up again...

Def call your dr but my thoughts are that when blood first shows that's day 1 & no matter the flow, day 2 is the 2nd day after day 1 (regardless of if you are spotting, light flow, or heavy flow). KWIM?

That's kinda the same thing my dr. said...so I will be starting the fermara tomorrow...and keeping "supplies" on hand in cause they are needed!!

It just sounds like an ebb and flow of a AF... like it's bleeding, then slows as it getting ready to release some more. Does that makes sense? I've had weird AF's like that when it flip flopped
