so it appears....(m/c mentioned)

It appears that I had a chemical last month. DH and I decided to try again right away after our m/c. So last month I had an AWESOME chart and the same symptoms as my bfp, but then my temps came down and I started bleeding last Sunday on. Meanwhile i kept getting negative tests (and what i thought were evaps), except for 1 IC which was pretty obviously positive at 10 DPO. Well, I am going to do an experiment where I start testing with ICs and $tree tests this cycle to test for evaps and stuff and wanted a baseline test that was negative, so i tested on CD5 in the afternoon. Well a light line popped up. So i let it go and then the next morning tried to get my base test again...this time it was more obviously positive. So that afternoon i took a FRER which also came up VERY LIGHTLY positive. So that to me means my HCG had to be <15. I then knew that I must have had a chemical but i am not sure why my tests didn't get positive until after I started bleeding.

My assumption is that my lining wasn't strong enough or I had a weak egg or something that didn't implant and only fertilized. So the good news is I can get pregnant, the bad news is, can I stay pregnant?! I am making an appt with my doctor on Tuesday when they get back in the office so hopefully i can get my progesterone tested. I am hoping it is something simple b/c we are not ready to do full on fertility treatment just yet. But i want to get some bw done and see what comes up. I am just hoping for the best.

Jensma, how do you know your not pregnant anymore? Did the tests just start coming back completely negative? Im just wondering since you said the test was not positive until after you finished bleeding. Chemicals are very common, my dr. told me that most of the chemicals I have seen have been due to late o'ing. He said the egg gets fertilized too late and that causes it to not stick. So hopefully your lining is ok and this was just a fluke.

Jensma I agree with Lori is the tests Negative?? If is I am so sorry that you have had yet another loss. Let us know...

yeah sorry i thought i mentioned that. It was positive yesterday and day before, but negative today. I am definitely not still pregnant.

So sorry for you hun. Glad you are going to talk to your doctor though and get some answers. I hope it is nothing and you will get your sticky BFP very soon.
