(My original sn is kitkat83 i just cant log in to it so i have to use this one)

Ok so heres my story from the start on the 16th i started having some spotting after fooling around so me and my fiancee when to the ER near his house which was only about 5 min away and found out that there was no sac or baby at 5w3d they said it could be a possible tubal and to go to my normal ob the next day which i did well the whole time i was there she was kinda rude and snippy with me prob due to the fact about the hospital i went to was not the hospital she works with (the one she works with is over an hour away from my fiancees house) so i was like ok but it was the closest to where i was and it was an emergency so i went there well i needed to go get a repeat Hcg to make sure the levels were going down which they were and tshe told me 3 weeks pelvic rest and not to lift anything over 15 pounds i thought ok not a problem well i had to go back to the hospital i went to the er at cause all places test there beta levels different.

well i did and it showed my levels dropped from the 500s to the 200s which was good it showed it wasnt a tubal thank god but sad it was a misscarriage well i passed the baby on the 20th and the bleeding stopped that sat well i was trying to be good but we got caught up in the moment last tues (the 2nd) and had sex well i also happened to be ovulating at that time well i told my dr about this cause today i had to go for a repeat beta lvl check to make sure i passed all the tissue and i didnt want her to do anything incase i am pregnant that could jeopardize this pregnancy well when i told her that she was like well thats is something u shouldnt have done cause now we wont know weather or not ur pregnant or ur levels havent dropped due to retained tissue and if you are you just increased your miscarriage rate by 50% i dont want u pregnant for 2 months and no sex till i see u again. she was really rude and kept griping about where i had my first set of betas and i was like sorry but i had to go there it was closets.

Im very irritated with her and just want all this to be over so i can go on with my life an plan my wedding. I will deff not be using her if im pregnant again or in the future if im not pregnant now i wont use her in the future she really gave me a bad taste in my mouth with how she treated me. And is it true that i increased my miscarriage rate my 50% casue i told her nurse what she said and she was like really i never heard that im so confused and worried if i am in fact pregnant i could loose this one too casue its too soon. Im sorry this was so long but i feek the way she treated me from the beginning was crappy

Sorry to hear that! You need to find a new doctor, she should not treat you that way. My friend got pregnant right away after her miscarriage (she did not even have a period in between, although it is best to wait at least one cycle) and her son is now11 years old and is healthy!

I know people that got pregnant right away, myself, I wanted to wait one cycle, because I was further along, but I really don't think you increased your chances of another MC...but I don't know for sure.

Sorry she was so rude...

I'm so sorry you're going thru a loss

it's totally possible to get pg before having an AF, I did!

Geesh she sounds like a real winner! And no it doesn't up your chances to have a miscarriage, but if there's not a thick enough lining the new embryo won't be able to attach well which is usually why they say it's good to wait at least one cycle to give your body time to heal... however a study that I found said it's not conclusive that you have to wait 1 or 3 cycles. I guess it just depends on what happened in your miscarriage that can make reasons why it's better to wait.

I'm sorry about your expierence, just hang in there and get a second opinion from another OB/GYN. That's what I had to do however it was too late for my 2nd little bean because my dumb doctor made me miscarry. We trust dr's with so much and they make mistakes too... so don't hesitate to get a 2nd opinion!!!!

I am sorry she was so rude and that you are now faced with finding a new doctor. I can tell you that it can be ok to get pregnant the cycle after a miscarriage becuase my sister did and her daughter is now 3 months old. So unless she was specifically talking about retained tissue I think she was trying to scare you. If you are pg again you can have a normal and fine pregnancy.

Did you take any hpt's to see if your numbers had come back down low enough to register "negative"? The reason I ask is to see if you will be able to test in a few weeks time or if you will have to wait and get an ultrasound to completely confirm a new pregnancy. I hope it all works out for you and have fun planning your wedding!!!

Thanks ladies i thought i might have been over reacting and being hormonal

im pretty sure i passed all the tissue cause the bleeding stopped as soon as she passed i mean like the next day it was only spotting the only reason she put me on pelvic rest was they thought it was a tubal with the tissue i passed i knew she was where she was suppose to be

i read on some websites that u cant ovulate till ur levels are low enough and im pretty sure i ovulated tues i felt it and the pain stopped as soon as the ewcm dissappeared and he cervix was soft high and open and we werent even trying it was jsut something that happened we are planning on waiting till after the wedding next oct to even think about ttc she made it seem like we did it on purpose

I agree with the other ladies, I have never heard of chances going up by 50%, sound like the doctor that told me "sometimes women got nutty in their cycles, so I don't deal with women issues because you are all the same and see another doctor"

Get another doctor, you could have retained tissue but it can take months to slowly pass.

What a *****. - it does not increase your risk - at least from what all my doctors have told me. I did have a nurse tell me - while I was sitting in the er having my second mc - 'if you keep doing this honey you're just going to keep having mcs' the docors said she was wrong. it was just bad luck.
and anyway - they look for HCG levels rising with a new pg - so just remember what they were! (and I'm pretty sure you won't O until you're down to under 5 anyway!)
hugs!
