So I thought this would help pass the time for those WTTCAL, TTCAL, in the 2WW, etc.
Here is the idea each person posts something that they think makes you a poas addict or inclined to become one.

You get online to look up the nearest dollar store to go buy some without DH knowing

I often test daily from 10dpo even though the earliest I have ever got a + result is 12dpo

1)

I've peed on TWELEVE tests alone within a few days! (once when I found out I was pg, well twice)

2) I've also hid

them from DH and was afraid "to get in trouble" and him fuss at me to stop! (the 2x's listed above)

3) went thru at least 30-40 LH strips in like 17 days, peeing on like 2 day

I started out my last 2ww with like 10 internet cheapies and still had to go to Walmart to get a 5 pack of digis...and told my DH that I forgot to order them so he wouldn't know I had already used up 10 tests. And I didn't even think I was pg...but I still had to test.

And I'm bummed that I am going to miss out on a lot of OPK poas this month - with my broken foot and being on crutches I'm not going to be able to test 1-2 times at work every day (I work with all men and my bathroom is right in the middle of their work area - it might be weird hobbling in the bathroom on my crutches with a test strip and dixie cup held in my teeth). I guess I will have to make due with after 5pm testing.

Hehehe!! I love this... I feel like I am soooo not alone now!! I have no self control when it comes to peeing on a stick.

I normally wake up in the middle of the night while DH is asleep (like 3 or 4 am) just to POAS so he doesn't know!!! DH would freak if he new how many times I POAS!!

I also close my eyes and try to think pink line thoughts... like that actually works

Oh my gosh this is so great.
I wanted to start testing the day I ovulated probably because I don't do the opk's

. I wish the thinking pink lines worked Amanda. Krystal I totally forgot you are on crutches! That would be embarrassing, put it in your pocket or purse and they will never know. Wait does that make me a pusher too?

y'all should be glad you're not toutured like the people at my job with my punny jokes!!!

Krystal 5pm is a perfect time tho, I read you should test between 2pm and 11pm since you usually have your strongest surge in the am with it showing up later in the afternoon / day... but like Jess said you could stuff it in your pocket or make a stash somewhere in the bathroom!!! LOL!!!

hahaha.....I take apart each test to make sure I haven't missed 'the line'. I've also bought different brands of tests and peed on each to see if they all detect the hcg.

I work in a high-rise with lots of people.
During my opk testing week, I was walking down the hallway from the restroom
to my office (opk in hand but covered with a tissue).
An older man stopped me (thinking I had food he had missed) and asked,
"What ya got there?"
I started laughing and said I can lie or tell you the truth. Truth is I'm trying to
have a baby and it's an ovulation test.
He wished me well and headed off on his merry way.
I turned the corner, ran into another man, who says, "what ya got there?"
(He got embarrassed when I told him what it was!)
I laughed all the way to my office!!!!

You go online to see what test has the lowest HCG per mIU/ml just to get that best bang for the buck!!!!!

You also wouldn't be caught dead buying a test that didn't say "Five days before your missed period"

I keep my BFPs in a ziploc bag and stash them in my underwear drawer so that I can keep looking at them... Until I miscarry then I throw them out. But I do take pictures of all my BFPs.

I POAS at all times of the month, during AF, during O'ing, and of course when you hit 6dpo(just in case I got a freaky early implanter

. I have done the office thing with those hpt strips, could not bring myself to get a dixie cup, so carefully pee'd all over my hands trying to get the stream on the tiny strip
