Just wondering if I should be worried about the fact that my cycle was only 24 days this month. I miscarried in July and that was my first full cycle after AF. Before the m/c my cycles were 28 days. Though sometimes I think I O'd early (with DD I O'd around CD 10). I know it takes the body a while to get back to normal... so maybe my cycles will normalize in a few months. But I was just curious if it is a problem if my cycle is shorter than the typical 28 day thing I always hear about??? Maybe I will ask the my docs office tomorrow when they call. I really need to write down all my questions. I hate it when I talk to them and then think of something I should have asked later!!!

Thanks ladies!!

i just posted this morning about my crazy post d & c cycles. i'm on cycle 4 post d & c and mine are getting shorter and shorter. 20 days this time. ugh. and yes, short cycles can be a problem if your luteal phase is less than 11 days (they say 12+ days is optimal).

do you chart at all? that's a great way to know if you are ovulating early resulting in a shorter cycle or if your luteal phase is short (resulting in a short cycle). good luck!

I don't chart... this was my first cycle after my m/c. I am not very good at taking my temp and get really confused (and a little crazy with the whole thing). I will start using my clearblue easy fertility monitor this cycle to help me out. That's what I used with DD and I got high fertility on CD 10 with her.

I really hope that both our cycles return to normal. URghhhh....

have you checked fertilityfriend.com? such a great tool! it does all the calculations for you. i would highly recommend doing it for a cycle or two if you can so you can see a pattern. i learned so much about my cycles this way!

I would talk to your doc... after my d/c they were longer... than it took about 5 cycles to get back tht 28... and that is were they stayed.. for two cycles than I got this last BFP. But if they keep getting shorter.... I would strongly sugest talking to your dr.

My cycles got shorter after my D&C. It freaked me out. I have been 30 days for as long as I can remember at least 10 years. Now I am 28 days. Have been since the m/c. Cycles can change after each pregnancy regardless what the end result is what my doctor told me.
