What do you do to keep your mind occupied while waiting to O or while in the 2ww?
I think our timing will be off this cycle (DH is out of town) so I need to keep busy until NEXT O so I need some ideas!!

Books? Do you like to read?
Any projects that you've been thinking of doing to the house, painting or rearranging?

Not much. I tend to clean the house or shop but then when I sit down to relax it comes back to consume me again.....
Yeah, what about a project - can you sew?

Definitely work ... besides that hanging out with friends, projects, or planning trips (even little day trips)! I think I need something to look forward to (besides POAS and getting a BFP) if that makes any sense. These things keep my mind of TTC. We actually started preparing the 3rd bedroom for DD over the summer but we haven't worked on it a while because school started back up. Now I need to pick out a quilt, paint color, decorations, clean out the closet, and find a dresser (we already have a big girl bed and a mattress)!!!

Having a project definitely helps. Work is a huge stressor for me so I need projects to keep my mind off that too. Right now I'm finishing an afghan that I'm making and then I'll start on some Xmas decorations. I know that it's early, but I plan to start on my Xmas shopping soon too!

I clean, scrapbook, come on here which doesn't always help, I also play online games so I do that ALOT. It is a nice distraction for both DH and I . I also love to garden, planting flowers and stuff . I don't grow anything edible haha.

Thanks ladies. So far the projects have worked (at least for today). I am working on scrapbooking and have a few projects on the go. Reading is great except I like sad books and they always make me cry so I try to avoid them during the week.

I love to run and play soccer, so I signed up for a couple of fall/winter races. I have a 10K (6 miles) race this weekend, I am running a half marathon (13.1 miles) in Nov. and if I am still TTC, I am going to run a full marathon (26.2 miles) in Feb. The training time that goes with preparing for the races keeps me very busy and tired.
I also play soccer and my m/c was right at the beginning of the season, so I am playing on both of my teams until my BFP comes again. Both teams together takes up a good 4-5 hours a weekend.
I also try to ban myself from internet symptom spotting (though it doesn't work very well). It seems to make the time go soooooo much slower!
Kat.

What do I do? Well prior to O' I get into a funk.... I try to start bd as much as we can 5 days prior to O'ing. After AF I guess the first 9 days is the hardest... SO Work keeps me pretty busy, I play mindless computer games, This time of the year I will start to get my Christmas list together, and start putting together some Christmas gifts. Than I start POAS at 7dpo... So for me it is only 1wk wait... Oh and I obsess with you and the other JM ladies.

I usually am not too bad but this cycle has been terrible. So right now I'm reading and taking my furbaby on walks.
