I'm so sorry for your loss. I too was a member of the April DDC and I can't believe how many ladies have had sad news and had to leave. I'm glad you found us here! HUGS!!!! As far as ttc again..that is really up to you. You should give it at least a couple of weeks to make sure you stop bleeding and your cervix is closed again after the m/c, so that you don't get an infection, but other than that if you think you are ready, go for it! A lot of women are very fertile right after a m/c and I know of a lot that have conceived right away. Good luck!!!!

Welcome Kelsue. I hate having to welcome people to this group because it means you have hurt the way we have all hurt. But this is a fabulous group of women and i am sure you will find great support here!
Your doctor may suggest waiting a few cycles before TTC again. If so, ask why. My doctor told me there was no medical reason to wait but that its best for your emotional health to wait. However, I met with a grief counsellor who said that everyone is different and some women need to try again ASAP as a way of healing.

Welcome. I am so sorry for your loss. As for TTC again your doctor may have a recommendation on when they like to have people start. I agree with the other ladies and their advice TTC is more personal choice. I wish you luck when you do TTC again. Take all the time you need and ask all the questions you need. There is also a pregnancy loss board that is helpful as well.

Welcome here. I tried again right away. That was a BFN though. So now I just finished my first period since the m/c so trying again. Some ladies need to wait a couple months to heal. It's helping me to try again right away. Whatever feels right to you. *hugs*

Welcome. I'm fairly new here too and have to say that this is a great bunch of ladies here. I'm so sorry for your loss. Like the other ladies have said, it's up to you how long you want to wait to TTC again. My doctor suggested I wait at least 3 months but I think that's because my baby boy was stillborn at 26 weeks. I've also had so many people tell me to wait until I have had enough time to grieve so it really depends on you.

I concur with everyone, we always dislike welcoming new ladies because of what has brought us together however we've made wonderful friends here!
I'm so sorry that you're going thru your loss right now We've all been there at least once and that's why we're here... ask away all your questions! We'll try to answer the best we can

Hi hun.. HUGS... I'm sorry to welcome you to the board. We waited a cycle to TTC again after our first two losses, and I think this time we'll wait at least a cycle if not more because I'd like to try and get more testing done. Everyone is in such a different situation, that there really is no right or wrong way to do this. I've definitely seen women on this board get a BFP right away and carry to a healthy baby!
I look forward to getting to know you!

Kelsue, I am so sorry for your loss... HUGS. I am Kary your co-host on the board. I am going through my third m/c... if it wasn't for the support of ladies.. I don't know what I would do. You have the most supportive group of ladies! They are wonderful. I am sure you will find this out first hand. Please jump right in and post, ask questions, vent or cry when you need to. We are all here for you. We all have went through some of the same feelings you will. HUGS and I am so sorry you have to go through this!

Welcome Kelsue I am glad you found your way over!!!
Ok with my first loss I was twelve and a half weeks and the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks (missed m/c) I had to have a D&C the doctor advised I waited two proper cycles. This time I was five and a half weeks and m/c on my own (spontanious) He didn't mention waiting and I didn't ask so I am naughty and I am trying straight away I believe my body will fall pregnant when it's ready last time it took six months.I wish you goodluck and a bfp really soon.
