Hi ladies, some may remember me, some may not. Haven't been on in FOREVER just becuase I don't want to get all caught up in TTC after what happened the first time around. So....Thursday makes 7 weeks since my D&C and no sign of my period!!

Just wondering how long it took those of you who had a d&c to get your period.... I'm getting very anxious about starting to try again and just to feel "normal". I'm sure you ladies relate.

have you thought about taking a hpt just to rule that out?

I was told it generally take 6-8wks to get "normal" again, but I'm sure that's just a median. It took me a little longer this new cycle, but I didn't have a D&C or D&E.

The other thing, I would can your doctors office and talk to their nurse triage to see what she says, perhaps squeezing you in to get an appt.

I really think it's just normal for you, but I could be wrong... it never hurts to get it checked out tho

Welcome back hun! After my D&C I had to have medicine to bring on AF. I hope she shows for you soon so you can start TTC again.

After my d/e it 35 days to get AF.... and I would say about 4 cycles to get back to my normal "cycles" of 28 days. If you have been bd... I would agree with Celena and say just to make sure take a HPT. If you are concerned you can always give your Dr a call. I hope she shows up for you HUGS...

welcome back! It took 47 days for AF to return after my D&C...my OB said up to 8 weeks was normal...after that they'd do some type of intervention (i assume w/medicine). Like Kary, it took several more months for my cycle to return to something approaching "normal". KUP on how you're doing!

I was about a month but my cycles were a little wonky for a bit. I was told anywhere from 4 weeks to 8 weeks for your first AF and it could take several months for your body to get back. Just like the other ladies said. I hope you get AF soon so you can get back to normal.

It took 11.5 weeks for my AF to return.It was so long

It took 2wks, but the first Af was so light and only lasted 5 light days. The next one was 4wks later and was very heavy and painful. My dr. said to call him if I did not have it back for 3months. That was his average range. I pray it comes soon for you.

Hmm, well...i've taken 2 hpts so far and both were BFN. I'm getting so impatient! lol I've been checking CM just to maybe see if i can figure out where I am in my cycle...it's not helping. A few days ago I had blood tinged, EWCM and I checked this morning and it's still bloody (sorry TMI) but apprears to be more-so than last time I checked. So, I don't know whats going on really. Maybe Aunt Flo on her way? Tried to research online and saw a few articles that said implantation bleeding could cause it but I'm not EVEN letting my brain go there! I'm just going to hope that it's the witch on her way.

I did call my ob/gyn's office over this....the nurse just said that it's different for all people to just take a htp to make sure I wasn't pregnant. She said if I didn't get it by the end of the month to call back and she would let my doctor know and maybe she would prescribe the medicine to make me start. She just said that normally the doc likes it to come on its own.

So...back to waiting......
