I have been told that my tubal pregnancy will be managed by letting the fetus reabsorb back into my body. I will have no bleeding, no cramping. I will not get a AF until the HCG has hit zero. As of yesterday, my numbers are plateauing. Not going either way. If they go up, surgery. If they platuea again on Wednesday then the shot.

Pray for me that they go down. I dont want either option. I dont want to loose my tube and I dont want the shot that will screw up my body for the next couple of months.

My body cant even bleed, I cant even spot. My cervix is up high and tight with no signs of anything. What a slap in the face. When you want to bleed, m/c normally and your body wont even do that for you, you have to ask yourself "what the heck did I do so wrong". This may take another week to progress and then hopefully AF will occur as soon I hit 0. Then the reality of a tubal loss will set in with a 20% chance of it happening again. When I look back, god I wish this had been a chemical pregnancy, no interuptions in my body.

Lori

Oh man.. I'm so sorry. I hope the loss continues naturally and you don't need anything invasive done. *hugs*

Oh Lori, don't blame yourself! HUGS!!!! It is not your fault.
I was given medication to insert vaginally to start contractions and the m/c. That made my levels drop really fast.
Can you ask your doctor to give that to you rather than waiting it out or taking a shot or surgery?

I am sorry hun. I too just went through an eptopic pregnancy, and my numbers weren't dropping they kept rising so I opted to have the shot of the methotrexate.. Within a wk my numbers had went from 5600 to 2011.. So I am hoping that yesterday's blood draw puts me at zero.. It is bittersweet.. Hang in there hun.. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions regarding the injections..

A freind of mine always says to me when I am blue, and down... "This too shall pass" And Lori it will. In it's in own time. Untill that time. We are here for you.
