...that when some women have a conversation with me about kids always say:"3 kids...WOW!!!!:" And then it turns out that they have the same # of kids themselves? Does that make any sense?

Trish, take it as compliment, you probably look way to young to have 3 kids!

thanks Lori. I mean you yourself have 4, would you find it so outrageous (sp?) that someone had 3 or more? What is wrong with people. I would expect that from someone with no kids. Sorry...just venting!

I agree with Lori they probably just think you look young to have three not that three is alot. I see young moms with more than two and I am like wow three. And I am trying for a third again. I don't think they mean it like wow that is to many but I could be totally wrong. I think three or four is perfect .

I can relate! I have the 3 teenage boys and people look at me like I am crazy or something! When they were younger, people would make comments as I was a single mom with 3 boys, now they are like wow, you look to young to have 3 teenagers

Bring on the comments!

I dunno, I would if I were you I would take it as a compliment too!

I have 3 biological and a stepDD, people always ask if they are all mine and "oh geeze you have your hands full"... but really I don't! (and I find offensive... so I always say NOPE they're AWESOME kids!)

4 kids doesn't seem like "allot" to me, they're good kids and maybe because my father is 1 of 11 or my mom 1 of 5. DH and I do not have any together, we would like to have a babe together and he's even mentioned more than one. We'll see. I wouldn't have even considered having a baby with DH if "it was too much" to handle KWIM
