I'm so proud of myself. I injected the Ovudril myself tonight. It went in so smooth and I felt absolutely nothing. Nothing when the needle went in and nothing when the liquid went in. Cool!

Wow!! I am glad to hear that it didn't hurt!! DH and I were just talking that if I had to give myself shots to have a baby, I would... but I HATE shots!!! It would be really hard for me to do it but I would!!

That is so great you got to do the shot tonight and that it didn't hurt. I hope it works and you get a BFP in a couple weeks.

I am so afraid of shots and have been since I was a little girl. I am proud of you!!! I honestly don't think I could give myself a shot. What is Ovudril?

Oh Missy me too!! I finally got use to having my blood taken, but shots are a different story. Never thought I would have to give one to myself.
It was actually fairly easy. It's the hcg shot to trigger ovulation. The needle was tiny and when it went in I didn't even feel it..and I'm a wuss. You just have to pinch the skin and it goes into the fatty tissue. Now I'm waiting for it to work it's magic.

Way to go girl!!! Where do you have to put the shot? I am really getting used to my bloodwork too, but giving myself a shot would be a whole different story! I hope its a BFP this month for you!!!

SmileyJen - The shot goes right in the tummy. You pinch a bit of skin (or fat in my case) right under the belly button but a bit to the side.
