Well I called my OBs office today and apparently my test results were in and the 4 tests they ran were normal. So I asked the assistant if the Dr. was going to run any more tests and what I should do now?The assistant said, "well what did the Dr. say the last time you saw him". I said well he mentioned taking progesterone if I got pregnant. She said well, I think you start taking that between 12 and 16 weeks so I assume you can TTC again and the doctor would prescribe it after your first appointment with him (when pregnant). Well 2 things made me very mad. First, I am pretty sure she didn't know what she was talking about. I am pretty sure you should at least take progesterone when you first get pregnant... but I have also heard others say that they have taken progesterone starting after they ovulate. 2nd... the last time I spoke with my OB was right after the miscarriage... that was in July which was a while ago.

So I am fed up with my doctor's office. I feel like my OB just ran those tests to shut me up. I don't think he cares about finding out what is going on with me. Plus, I want to talk to someone who specializes in these issues.

So.... I made an appointment with an RE. DH and I are super excited!!! I hope this doctor will actually listen to me and help me figure out what is going on and come up with a plan for if I get pregnant!!

Plus... my fertility monitor says I am at High fertility!!! So DH and I are going to try and make a baby!! I am really hoping for a June baby!!!

*lurking*

I'm so sorry you have had such struggles with TTC. For a lot of us that have been trying forever to get pregnant, seeing an RE was the best thing we ever did. Regular OBs are confused by people with fertility issues...they are used to dealing with pregnant women!

When I started seeing my RE, I finally felt like I had someone on my team who would help me. I hope you feel the same way, and that you get a sticky BFP very soon!

I am so glad you made the appointment. And yes from all my reading you do the progesterone in the beginning and usually stop once you get to about the second trimester as your body is able to do it on its own usually. The problem is usually the beginning of the pregnancy having the lack of it. Silly nurse. I hope the appointment with the RE goes well. With my son I made an appointment because I thought we were going to have problems because of some abnormal stuff and when I went in they said oh well I guess it won't be a problem since you are pregnant. I was like really? So hope that happens for you and now that you have the appointment you get pregnant . Good luck.

Good for you to take your TTC into your own hands and make the appointment with the RE! I hope you get a great doctor and that you get pregnant fast!
