Is there anything you try to do each day to *boost* your moods?
Does it work for you?
Any suggestions?
What differences have you noticed?

Lately I've added a B-complex and been working out, outside in the fresh air and sun to boost my moods. It has helped some by getting me out of the apt. and keep me moving thru the day, but in all honesty all I want to do is sleep... but by doing this at least it MAKES me get moving.

Also for the past 3 weeks I have been going to a LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) counseller. Not sure how much she helps, but it's someone I can vent to and not feel reserved, outside of my situation. (like with friends, family, etc) I'll keep going for a little while longer and decide after some time, it's too early to tell either way. I did notice last week that there was a little weight lifted off my chest, that is what helped me to get "moving." (with the exercise outside)

I've been a hermit for a little over 2 months now, making a little progress... some is better than none! Right?

Celena, Im glad the social worker is taking some weight off of your chest. Does feel better venting to someone (IRL, where you can see expression and emotion)

Im pretty much in a good mood most of the day, even given recent circumstances. My kids take my mind off of so much, including work stress. This is a bit TMI, but if I dont dtd every morning upon waking up, I notice Im a bit more irratable. I notice a big difference on days where we are rushed and cant do it. Im much more unfocussed and more moody. If I get it in the am, Im energetic and uplifted. So even though most days dont count towards making a baby, I actually look forward to those most. (less stress and just pure excitement)

I think Im half man

I'm struggling with this one. We just past our 1 year mark since we first started TTC (it's hasn't been continuous trying because of my 2nd loss and the recovery period but still, it's been a year). I have felt really really down lately about it. At first my goal was to just be pregnant again by my EDD, then the date when I found out I was pg last year. Now, we are approaching the date of my loss a year later and are still not pg. I'm kinda at a loss for ideas on how to keep my mood up. I work out pretty much every day and I'm super busy at work but honestly, that hasn't helped at all.

I'm thinking of maybe trying some yoga or accupuncture this month...I dunno what else to do. Thanks for starting this post! I look forward to hearing from other ladies!

I vent a lot to Lori and am greatful to have a friend that understands all of my craziness! xoxoxo

I have been trying to keep busy and it has helped. I picked up the phone and rekindled a couple of old friendships, I started scrapbooking and taking all of the old pictures off of my computer, getting them printed out and putting them in picture books. I have been watching more movies with the boys and working out a few days a week.

Reflecting on my past today really helped. I was out of town and drove into the old neighborhood where I first lived 14 years ago when I got divorced. It is such a poor, drug infested area. It made me appreciate more of what I do have now. My situation is a little different because of my age and my time to have a baby is limited and I am starting to come to terms a little that this may just not happen and I need to be greatful for the boys I have. It doesn't make me want another child any less, but it does take the edge off of feeling broken a little. I probably don't make any sense right now.

Also being in the 2ww gives me hope that maybe I am pregnant again.

Liz - I am sorry your journey has been so long and hard. I understand, in less than 2 weeks makes my 1 year mark.
