Michael and I met online, actually. Kind of a funny story. We were never really into the internet chatting thing but one day I decided to go into a chat room (I was obviously very young!) and I started harassing people in the room on purpose lol And well, Michael was doing the SAME thing! He messaged me privately and we started talking regularly. But the first time we MET for real (he was from CA, I from WA.) was on the 4th of July in 2001. It was bittersweet.
Ghost Hunting? Well, about a year. Although I have had an interest in it for many years. I think it's a lot of fun and I really like the girls I go with. We got it together when we were working together at my last job and it's just...stuck I guess
My current job is a veterinary technician at an all creatures hospital that also does urgent care. I love it. Dream job? I'm not sure; I really like what I do now. I think it would be neat to do rescue work or work as an EMT tech in veterinary medicine (yes they DO have that!) I'm really becoming fond of the wildlife I've gotten to see at this new location. It's crazy; I've seen beavers, deer, bobcats(!), variety of wild birds including hawks, baby raccoons... Lots of neat stuff for sure.

My favorite color is ice blue. Not the same as baby blue I do clean more than I used to; I used to kind of let things pile up until I couldn't stand it anymore; but nowadays I've gotten to the keeping things tidy works best stage.
I found JM during my first pregnancy; I was browsing trying to find a forum to help me through it and alas I found you lovely ladies.
When I'm not working or ghost hunting (lol sounds so funny!) I usually spend time with my fiance and we play video games and watch movies. Right now, though, time is consumed with wedding planning and I must admit it's totally getting to me!
Favorite thing to do with just the girls is drinks and a night out on the town! Preferrably to a gay club so we don't get hit on. I LOVE to dance. Infact, I was going to be a professional ballerina back in the day; I was going to feed into the Pacific Northwest Ballet right at 18 but I dislocated my shoulder and struggled with an eating disorder that got me pretty much kicked out of academy until I went to IP.
Favorite thing to do with just DF? Well, I think that would be playing video games. We play WOW (World of Warcraft) on occasion and it's a BLAST! I don't take it seriously, but I love to see him light up when we play together..
Favorite thing to do on a rainy day? Ohhh, this is easy! Lay in bed with DF and take a NAP! And then watch football
Dinner tonight is tacos (taco salad for me)! And margaritas on the rocks! Woot!
Favorite comfort food? That's a toughie-- I think chocolate chip cookies is a good one. I also loveeeee me some shrimp fettuchini. Ohhh yeah
Favorite thing about Seattle? Well, I'm not *technically* living in Seattle. But I can see Seattle from my house! lol I live across the Puget Sound. I would say the best part about WA is being able to go anywhere and get different terrain; I can drive over the mountains and get dry Arizona-type climate in the summer, see snow in the mountains in the winter, and see perfectly mild autumn here with the wind storms and all! I love looking at the ocean. Washington is the perfect state!
I don't know about where I'd live; Maybe in another country. That's a hard one for sure!

It's just an adapted name to something quite simple: paranormal investigation.

When you ghost hunt, what do you do? We get our group together and we go to various locations, and set up. It's very much like what you see on Ghost Hunters (TAPS). We set cameras, motion detectors, mini DVRS, cams on computers with motion sensors, etc. We leave audio running in hot spots like on stairs... Spend time in rooms that have had activity, areas where it just *feels* weird..
Several hours. Then we go home. Review. Most everywhere we've been has been active.
Favorite paranormal place? An old, hidden cemetery out in the boonies here. We've been there A LOT. Most of the people buried out there are from early 1900s during the flu pandemic out here. Mostly women and very small children.. We've gotten singing (yes, a woman singing a lullaby..) children talking. One of my favorite evps was one of a child going, "I don't really know who they are." referring to us, I'm guessing. It has an amazing feel there. It's not frightening at all. It's just... serene. I love it.
Personal experiences? Too many to count! I used to see shadowy figures in my old apt. One night I woke up and felt like someone was right there watching me. The way our apt was laid out there was the couch which faced away from a U-shaped kitchen and that night I had fallen asleep on it. I felt so uneasy and I turned and looked over the back of the couch and the fridge was pulled away 3 ft from the wall. I thought maybe DF had done something to it to mess with me (since weird things always happened in our kitchen..) so I put it back where it belongs and went to bed. In the morning we got up and it was out in the middle of the floor again. No the floors aren't slanted and it has no wheels... Lots of talking in the hallway when there was no one there. The tv turning on all by itself and going to full volume in the middle of the night. The stovetop being turned on when we came home on a regular basis. Timers going off randomly. It was odd... That whole place was odd. People would sleep over and ask me what I was doing in the hallway at 2 am.... when I wasn't there. Things like that. We moved out 4 years ago after living there for 18 months. I found out after we bought our house that the apt we lived in used to be condos and the man who lived their with his wife in the 70s hung himself on the support beam in our kitchen.
Do I have a big family? No. I really don't. I have one sister and two step sisters that I haven't seen in 10 years. I do wish I had more family to see, but I just don't.

What is your favorite holiday?
Since you are into the whole paranormal thing...how do you feel about the "fake" haunted houses/trails/etc for the halloween season?
