Hello! I want to introduce myself and have questions.
Im married with 3 daughters who are 9yrs, 5yrs and 10 months.
I was diagnosed with pcos 3yrs ago. It took 2 yrs to concieve my youngest while on Metformin and 100 mg of Clomid. I stopped breastfeeding my youngest at 8 months old to try and concieve our last child. Im still on Met and I had my first af on July 27th since breastfeeding. I use the strips to detect LH. I recieved a surge in August and got numerous BFP on August 27th. But unfortunetley i started to bleed 4 days later. I got a LH surge Sept. 24th. When should I test since my period was off?
If I do get my af in october i will start clomid again. Is it possible that i was pregnant and miscarried?
Thanks

sorry to hear about your loss. If you got anther surge on the 24th I would think that testing maybe 2.5 weeks later should give you a result as to if you are or aren't preg... however.. some people do find there AF's get even wackier after a m/c

Best of luck with TTC

Hello there,

I want to you and apologize all in the same breath... not that we're not happy you're here, but that we're not happy how we have to "meet" you. Very sorry to hear about your loss and to hear how hard it was for you to concieve your youngest. I sure wish things were easier for us ladies!

As far as the question(s) you asked

1) October 12th given that you O'd up to 48hrs after, giving you a 16 day luteal phase max... did you DTD around then? (the few days leadin up to and after the 24th)

2) is it possible that you were pg this past cycle? sure it is, but keep in mind that cycles are usually always off in one way or another after a loss... so it's highly likely you're just irregular from your loss

Again welcome to TTCAL and stick around here lady

Im sorry for your loss, and yes if you had your peak surge on the 24th, then testing a couple weeks later would tell you if you conceived or not. And yes, if you got multiple BFPs. then you did m/c early. Probably around 4wks. Again, Im sorry to welcome you here, but none the less, you are very welcome.

Yes we did do the BD 2 days before and one day after! I did it close to ovulation because we r trying for a boy. I know its probably a myth. Was that enough or should i have a couple of more days after the surge?
