wondering if im pregnant or not

I had gotten a positive lh surge on sept 23rd. Today i took a pregnancy test and it is very very very faint and its pink. Am i pregnant or is it too early to tell? what dpo should i test on to get a accurate read?

Did you ever get a Negative HPT since your m/c? Since OPK's can look like a + and really be picking up HCG..... So if you didn't get a negative HPT.... If might be left over from your m/c. But I would call your doctor on Monday to see if he can draw and check your blood levels.... GOOD LUCK KUP!

Take what I'm saying with a grain of salt because ANYthing is possible... but from a generalized facts based on the majority here's the facts ma'am

Ya it is definitly possible to be pregnant, but it is very early and that would put you at approx 8, maybe 9dpo... the LH surge doesn't mean you ovulated that day just that within 24-48hr period on the 23rd from that + OPK. If I were you I would wait a few days and test with a FRER (first response early response pg test) in the am. If you get a positive, shoot do a digi too!

Also, implantation generally takes place 7-10, even up to 12-14dpo!

Do you temp/chart? That can also help show you when you O'd & pg by the temp fluctuations.

It's best to wait until 14dpo, but allot of POAS'aholics start earlier... but it's a very very small percentage that actually get a positive on 9,10dpo.

So hold out a couple, 3, 4, days and try testing again... that might give you more definitive answers.

Generally a line is a line and means you're pg.... unless it's one of the dollar store cheapies, those don't have the best reputation as they a famous for their evap lines.

with Kary too... yep, good point! Did you ever get bloodwork showing your levels zeroed out after your mc?

yes i did get blood work done and the results were a 5. I also took pregnancy test after and they were all negative.
I took another hpt (Answer brand) and it was darker and pink. I am looking for my cord so i can post a pic to show u. Its so hard not to test im so nervous but if i am pregnant i want it to stick so bad. I am going to test again in the morning but with ept i know blue dye test are not good.
I thought i was 10 dpo? Well ill try to post a pic. Do you have to have a certain amount of posts to post a pic on the mb?

Well that sounds really positive that you've had two pregnancy tests that are positive and previous negative tests plus your bloodwork...sounds good to me anyway!! Keep us updated!

When you get a positive OPK, showing an LH surge that only means O'ing is about to happen within 24-48 hours from getting that + OPK. It doesn't mean you ovulated that day.... so say you got your LH surge the 23rd you would ovulate between the 23rd and the 25th. It should tell you that in the box or on some sort of instructions. (So romping every other day wouldn't hurt

I agree that those blue dye tests aren't the best either, they give you evap lines too :-S I dunno why they sell them? lol

Ya, FRER's are pretty reliable from my experiences with them... it is hard not to test, but think about the financial aspect of it LOL maybe that will help you wait a day or two so you get that super dark line if you are preggo! GOOD LUCK & KUP!

I agree with the other ladies I would test with a FRER or a digi! KUP but it sounds like its a BFP!

I hope it's a sticky one! Definately take a FRER as it picked up as low as 8 hcg for me. Also the Clearblue Easy digi is the most sensitive it also gave me a + really early on. Good luck!!!

I took a digi test today and it said yes+(first respnse test)!!!
Tomorrow in the morning im going to call my doctor to get a quantative blood test done to monitor the hcg levels. I hope this one sticks i dont want to get to excited.

Thank you soo much for the congrats!!
This morning i went in for a progesterone test and a quantative hcg test i will get the results tomorrow hopefully the lastest in the afternoon. Ill keep u posted on the numbers.
