Sorry gals...I have been MIA....one of those weeks! Sunday a pipe burst in the basement (the main one bringing water into this 100+ year old house) and it took until Monday to get it fixed. Then AF showed up on Monday with a vengence, I have been bleeding so heavy it is driving me nuts. I hate waking up 3 or 4 times a night to change pads!

So onto brighter topics.....

DH (Jay) and I met when we were both working at a country club. He worked in the pro shop and I worked in the ftont office. It was part of his job to bring the receipts for the day into the office every night and we clicked the first time we met. I was only 16 at the time, he was 21, but things quickly grew and developed! It is weird to think that I have been with him for more than 1/2 of my life!

Favorite meal to cook would probably be fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Only because it is super easy and always turns out great. I also like making "thanksgiving" dinner...turkey, green bean casserole, rolls, corn, cranberry relish, stuffing, pumpkin pie but I don't make that very often.

If I could visit anyplace in the world.....well Greece is high on my list. I would love to see the ancient ruins! Jay and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon, I would love to do that again, maybe to Alaska this time instead of to the Bahamas.

Favorite place I have lived would be the house we are in right now. It is old and full of character plus we live close enough to walk to the grocery, library, post office, parks and the river. I have always lived withing about 30 miles of where I was born!

I LOVE FALL......warm days, cool nights. I also LOVE halloween. My birthday is in November as well. I can't imagine living someplace where you don't have that "seasonal" change.

Officially, I do NOTHING for a living. I went to college to get a degree in engineering and then switched majors to education. My oldest son had a lot of medical issues so I never returned to work once he was born almost 19 years ago. I have recently started a photography business and am focusing on senior portraits, maternity portraits and children's portraits.

Favorite TV shows: Criminal Minds, LOST, Law and Order SVU, plus I enjoy those reality shows like Hoarders, Intervention, 16 and Pregnant.

Favorite Books: I enjoy the writting of John Taylor Gatto and John Holt. Like Patrica Cornwell's stuff. Favorite classics are probably Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Lord of the Flies. Recently I have been spending a lot of time reading the bible.

Favorite Movies: The Silence of the Lamb Series, Caddyshack, Wedding Crashers
