I have a question for any ladies who have used progesterone...

Ok, so I just got my BFP this morning and it is really (only 10 DPO). Well the doctor went ahead and prescribed me progesterone. I just inserted the first pill around 4:30 and when I went to the bathroom around 6:00 there was just a slight tinge of pink on the toilet paper. So of course I am worried (DH says I need to stay positive... but it is not easy after 3 miscarriages!!!) The pill is orange so I was wondering if it could just be the color of the pill somehow?? Or has this happened to anyone else taking progesterone??

Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry...I haven't had this experience...I am also taking the progesterone, just started on Saturday...but my pills are white...so I'm not really any help. I'm sure everything is fine...and try not to worry unless you have cramping, or more than just a pinkish tinged CM. I know it's hard, as I have had a loss as well and have been worrying lots myself...but try to listen to your hubby and stay calm. and sticky dust...

There are some women who freak out so much from taking it vaginally becasue of the irritation (sometimes even spotting) that they opt for the oral pill. Talk to your dr. about the options available to you. I personally take the oral pill twice daily. More side affects, but I think I would freak too if I saw discharge color other than white or yellow. Try and relax, this is very common with the supposatory supplement.

So sorry that you are having to worry hun. Sounds more like what the other ladies said, irritation or just discharge. I would call your doctor though if you are worried. Stress isn't good either.

Is it prometrium? I was on prometrium and it did cause a pinkish tinge to my CM.
