Hi ladies!
Well, I'm joining you all now apparently. I will go through my intro and history, so to warn you, might be a long post!
I'm Jacque (pronounced Jackie), 28, DH is Jason, 29, and we've been married since June 20th of this year. I wasn't charting or anything when we got married, but from my rough calculations and basic guessing, I thought I might be ovulating around the time of our wedding/honeymoon. On a whim, I took an HPT on 6/29/09 and it was a BFP (it was a digi, said YES+). We were amazed. However, a few days later, it was a BFN and I went to the doctor on July 7th, BFN there and started my period 7/8/09. Since then, I have had regular 30 day cycles. Started using OPK's, then this past month I started charting temps and CM. I got a BFP on 10/2, CD 29. It was BFN not using FMU on the 3rd, BFP, the 4th and 5th, then BFN on the 6th with FMU. I just knew I had lost the baby. I went to the doctor on Wednesday (yesterday) and he confirmed my urine test there was BFN. I did have a bHCG drawn, and will get the results for that tomorrow. I also had TSH drawn as well as a whole series of labs for a clotting condition that can cause the fertilized egg not to be able to implant and grow. So, from my calculations, this was my 2nd miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. My doctor never really said I miscarried the last time, especially because I was testing really early- I think it was like 5 days before my missed period, but he definetly said I was this time- I even brought pics of my digis saying "pregnant" to prove it in case he didn't believe me!
I call the doctor tomorrow for the beta HCG results and I have an appointment on the 21st to discuss the other labs. If I haven't started my period by then, and my HCG is indicative of a non-viable pregnancy, he wants to do a D&C.
So, I'm joining you ladies. Has anyone here had two or more chemical pregnancies and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I'm just so scared there is something wrong and I won't be able to have a baby! We have discussed adoption, but we would like to have one of our own first if possible.
BTW, I am considered high-risk already because I have Spina Bifida, but am on high-dose folic acid (4 mg) and a B complex vitamin to decrease my chances of having a baby with SB.
Well, I guess that's it for now....I'm sorry this was so long and I look forward to getting to know you ladies and I am throwing out truckloads of sticky to us all!

and hello Jacque!
I'm terribly sorry to hear that you've gone thru one loss and are going thru one now also... Hope that you heal well & quickly both emotionally and physically. How are you and DH handling everything? (not to pry) I'll keep the questions to a minimum until you're ready.
You've come to a great place full of supportive ladies who have big hearts, compassionate, friendly & helpful in sharing their experiences! I hope that you've will find you find what you need here There are several of us who have had more than one loss, and there's a few who have had chemical pregnancies...
Your doctor sounds wonderful and very proactive! You'll have to keep us updated... again WELCOME to the TTCAL board!!!

Thanks for your concern. We're doing OK, I think, DH is keeping it bottled in a little though and I know it's because he thinks it'll upset me more if he's upset, so I feel bad. I took last night off of work, but I'm at work tonight- don't have the PTO hours to take off again, plus I'm an "expert" on our new computer system so they needed me. I have my good moments and bad...mostly been OK at work, though when I was holding the little 2 month old patient, I almost lost it, but I survived. I don't really have any secrets, btw, so feel free to ask whatever you want! I haven't started bleeding yet, though I do have a weird pulling sensation on my right lower abdomen, and I had that off and on last week, so I thought it was normal- I guess not. I will let y'all know what the doctor says about my beta tomorrow morning.

You might want to get that sensation checked out by your OB, not to scare you but is it possible to have an ectopic that they missed?
My DH is the same way... try to sit with him and pull his teeth out n get him to talk, it can be very helpful for both of you pulling you both together (no pun intended)
Do you have any Dr's appt's coming up? I really do suggest trying to get in there and get an u/s even if you have to hit your ER room to get it done.
