So.. I finally got a little bit of hope today. It seems my hours of googling have finally paid off. After three losses, two clotting disorders, and five doctors dismissing my concerns... I've stumbled across a blog of someone in my city who went through the same thing. I contacted her, and she wrote back about a Dr. who believes in treating people like me. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I can breathe. Maybe this is it... maybe I can find someone who will not only just treat me, but also BELIEVE in treating me. This is huge. I really need a Dr. who will support me.
I just wanted to share my hope with all of you! I am actually happy today!

That is really good to hear! It's really hard finding a doctor who is proactive on treating m/c. Please let us know if you see this doctor and what he/she has to say.

that's great news Kristin! I think getting the right medical care is so critical...and having doctor after doctor tell you there's nothing they can do to try to prevent another loss is not acceptable. I can't wait to hear how your first appt goes...have you called new Dr already??

No.. not yet... I still need to finish repeating all my tests in the next few weeks, and we weren't planning on trying again till end of Nov/Dec - so I'll probably get the tests done just because they're already ordered and I want to close this chapter with this hospital - and then make copies and head on over to someone new with all my proof that there's only one thing wrong with me and I need to treat it! This Dr. is also further away and only takes DH's insurance.. so there's some logistics involved.. but I think I can have it figured out by the end of the year. Up until now, I thought I'd have to do some arm twisting to get my way! Heaven forbid a Dr. is actually supportive!
